As soon as I put on the new Kristen skin by Glam Affair, I could tell it would serve as the perfect canvas for my tattoo layers. The skin’s smooth texture and bright undertone are simply flawless, a testament to Aida’s continuous experimentation with different styles. I love this current look! Although I made fixes to the skin with tattoos from Izzie’s, the end result is stunning.
Perhaps I’ve been indulging in Once Human a bit too much, but when I stumbled upon these new blood splatters from Izzie’s, I knew they would create an interesting photo opportunity. After all, it’s October—time for werewolf bites and spooky fun!
Hello from Aurelias! I’m still living out my Bridgerton dreams in Second Life. This particular look is so stunning that I’ve saved it as my default outfit. This way, I can effortlessly switch from my everyday casual look to this elegant Victorian attire with just a click.
Over the weekend, I attempted to do some shopping but came up empty-handed. My current fashion mood is all about Victorian elegance, and nothing I found quite matched that vibe.
Curiously, I decided to give the Second Life mobile app another try. The app is now available to Premium and Premium Plus members. While it’s handy for logging in and chatting with friends, I found that navigating and performing any actions within Second Life remains a significant challenge. Movement is clunky, and rendering continues to be a nightmare. It’s clear that developers are making strides, but I can’t help but wonder how long this app will linger in beta.
The mobile app, in its current state, is unlikely to attract new users. New residents would find themselves better off downloading the viewer and logging in that way. The app’s limitations also mean it doesn’t quite hit the mark for existing residents either. Access to inventory and the ability to change outfits are crucial features that are sorely missed.
So, while it’s a step in an exciting direction, the Second Life mobile app still has a long journey ahead before it becomes a viable option for both new and seasoned residents.

A little-known fact is that this isn’t his first clothing release. Truth was originally a clothing brand before becoming a hair brand, and even created a clothing brand called Alt in 2016. I went to the Lindens & Residents Snowball Fight at Winter Wonderland to test drive my new Dell Alienware computer. This is my second time attending the snowball fight event, the first time was last year. The Winter Wonderland venue is beautiful, but this year the lag was noticeably higher than last year, probably because 60+ residents were in attendance.
Even with the lag, I could tell my new computer rendered everything beautifully, though I couldn’t really move at all. When other residents shoot you 3 times, you die, and you’re immediately teleported back to the entrance.
It has been a rollercoaster of emotions since Patch Linden announced the availability of SecondLifetime Premium! You can read all of the details here. It’s not cheap, whether you get a regular Premium account or a Plus account, so I’m not sure why Linden Lab felt it necessary to limit it to only 20 (Plus) accounts and 200 (Premium) accounts.
SecondLifetime Premium Plus sold out very quickly, even though the announcement occurred during working hours for most residents in North America, and during sleeping hours for residents in Europe, Asia, Australia, etc. Almost everyone had no chance at getting Plus, except for the people that were live-watching Lab Gab and fast. My friend Sparkle scored one of twenty coveted lifetimes… so congratulations to everyone that got one! We’re all in the same boat now, waiting to see if Second Life will still be here in 7 years.
As a Linden Homes addict enthusiast, I always love when a new theme is released! I love exploring new regions and checking out the different home styles. Last year, I was lucky enough to win a charity auction, allowing me to name a Linden Home region and pick the location of my home – an incredible bonus! I’m deeply grateful to Izzy Linden for assisting me with this, and I’d definitely participate in another Linden Homes auction in the future.
I love trying to piece together a complete outfit from a hunt. Belle Epoque always has the best hunts for about L$10 per item. I can’t recall if I’ve done the Summer Hunt or Birthday Hunt before, so I did it again. Belle Epoque revived two older hunts until June 15th, so you can get them too if you didn’t in the past.
