Hi! Are you ready for fall? I’m so happy the weather will be slightly cooler, that I’ve already started decorating my Ashton Village home.
I decorated the exterior of the house with some starry pumpkins from What Next and Eileen string lights kit from Sway’s. I do have a ton of autumn decor, so it was nice to be able to use it!
The Decker Natural Living Set from Cheeky Pea is versatile and so easy to arrange. It gives a fabulous fall vibe, and goes along with the other What Next autumn-themed decor I had. I like all of my homes to have soft lighting, whether it be from string lights or illuminated decor.
Have you decorated for Autumn in SL yet? Let me know in the comments!
EDIT 9/7/2019: I’ve left Ashton Village; now that I have fulfilled my Autumn home decorating dreams! I hope the new owner enjoys it as much as I did.
What I’m Wearing:
Truth – Labyrinth
The Secret Store – Helena V-Neck Sweater (Dotted)
The Secret Store – Celestial Flounce Skirt (Milk)
Reign – Oxley Woven Boots
Reign – Fall Vibes Traveler Bag (The Romantic #13)
Last Friday, I picked up the Bailey Coffee Table & Bailey Picture Shelf from What Next. I want my house to have a cohesive look, so I limit the furnishings to just a few brands. This picture shelf matches the rest of my stuff, and only has 1 land impact! You can also change the texture on the shelf, frames, and pictures. All of this for 1 li – that’s magic!
Do know how to be a good neighbor on Bellisseria? Follow these laws, written by me.
Hello from my mainland beach! Since I sold my sim, I have been looking for a small slice of waterfront beach. As you know, most mainland waterfront beach parcels are overpriced, costing HUNDREDS of dollars. I consider mainland a risky investment, cos at any moment, a neighbor could rez a giant rock wall or other annoying decors and ruin everything.
I’m so happy a friend I met recently on mainland gave me this parcel, cos he just bought a full sim. I have one side that is unblockable watefront, and the other sides are kind of horrible. I will just look out, and never look back. I love FREE LAND!
Happy Holidays! Whatever you celebrate, you should do it in style. I am loving this gorgeous Uma Skater Dress and Mia Bolero from The Secret Store. I specifically chose to wear the Foil color cos I love the shimmery metallic look, and it pairs wonderfully with the Scarlet bolero and Marmont Pumps from A N E Shoes. These pumps are adorable! I’m delighted to find another brand of shoes in SL that works so well with my style; definitely keep an eye on A N E if you’re into pretty shoes.
I’m slowly but surely decorating my SL home for Christmas. I got a new Christmas tree this year from Moss & Mink! All the ornaments and decor are pastel, so it goes with my home perfectly. I have several other Christmas trees I want to put up as well, in more traditional colors. I love Christmas.
What I’m Wearing:

The Secret Store – Uma Skater Dress (Foil)
The Secret Store – Mila Bolero (Scarlet)

Moss & Mink – All That Glitters
What Next – Sierra S’Mores Station
Did you read the latest blog post about new improvements and fees? I’m super excited about Animesh! I can’t wait to have clothing and curtains that sways gently. As usual, there is some uproar about the fee for processing credit increasing from 1.5% to 2.5%, but that’s just the cost of doing business. Linden Lab could easily charge for a “business license” of $1,000USD a year and people would pay it, as long as they’re able to profit from their SL businesses.
In the decade that I’ve been in SL, I have not seen a single brand quit over ‘fees’ – but some do make a bunch of noise, and quit when they stop making a profit. My favorite brands aren’t going anywhere, as long as we keep supporting them with our lindens!
Speaking of favorite brands, What Next is easily one of my favorite home decor brands at the moment. The Colonna Hot Chocolate Station from What Next is giving my home such cozy autumn feels. I’m looking for a new bedroom set, if you guys have any suggestions, let me know in the comments!
