I haven’t made a vid in a loooong time, so this is my first time testing the SL 2.0 client. I couldn’t remove the UI entirely (I blame SL) and the music doesn’t really sync with the dance moves at times, but it’s MY FIRST ONE in a long time! 🙂

Valentine’s Day festivities in Second Life are a joy, regardless of your virtual relationship status. As someone who’s happily hitched in the non-digital world, I’ve always roamed through this virtual landscape solo. Honestly, it’s never been an issue for me; I adore getting into the holiday spirit and dressing up for the occasion.
My exploration last year took me to the delightful Dunk & Hug a Linden & Mole Event, a first for me, and it was incredibly fun. Donned as a charming Victorian lady, I had such a wonderful time that I’m tempted to revive that persona for this year’s celebration. The allure of that period’s romantic charm is simply irresistible to me.

Home and Garden Expo ends TOMORROW (June 2nd).
I’m not really looking for any new home & garden decor, so I didn’t plan on going to Home and Garden Expo. Then, I read Gidge’s less than favorable review of the event — Why Does The H & G Expo Make It SO Hard To Shop There? and was glad I didn’t have to go. However, I’m a sucker for a sweet Pink cottage, and when I saw pictures of the Hope Cottage by Dorian (Dorian Meredith), I fell in love.
I thought navigation was going to be a pain, but it was actually very easy and enjoyable. Using the handy list posted here, I found Dorian on Home Expo sim 4 (direct SLurl). Once I landed, I found the teleport board, clicked on the Dorian logo and arrived right in front of the house pictured above. I’m somewhere in the picture, can you spot me?
The Hope Cottage is $600L and inside an RFL vendor, so I think some or all of the proceeds are donated to charity. What a steal for this amazing lil’ cottage! I don’t know if it is limited edition, so you should probably go get it, just in case it is not available after the event.
Inside the cottage, is a $10L matching fireplace (hunt item), get that too!
My Home and Garden Expo coverage is brief, but I really wanted to write about this before the event ends. Also, when I went this morning, it was completely lag free and with just a few people on the sim. Everyone must be at The Arcade, so hurry, check out the Expo!
Gala Phoenix will be releasing the April skins soon (tonight or tomorrow) and they are fantastic!! There are seven makeups for each skin tone, and two versions of each makeup included in every purchase. If you've ever wanted MORE COLORS… here they are, tons of bright & bold eyeshadow with names that are happy, like Bunny, Rainbow, Showers, Tulip, etc.

April has new lips, brows, and nose (from what I can tell, there may be more subtle differences all over the body). The new brows are super nice and the lips are a bit pouter, too.

Truth – Florence | Pippa
Truth has two new adorable styles out, each with two different bangs styles to choose from. I love the lil color-changing headband on Pippa, so adorable!!
This 4Minute outfit was released back in December, but it’s still oh-so-awesome! I love everything Sweetest Goodbye does, especially when Morphine creates uniforms, they’re amazing.

Every girl should have some type of Medieval fantasy costume because it’s SL, and having costumes is part of the fun. This is the Elegance Gown from Mer-Elf Creations and it comes with a ton of options!! It took me awhile to figure out which attachments goes with which skirt option, etc.

Rawr! I looove the sleeves on this gown, it’s such a nice dramatic touch.
For a sultry look, just wear the bodice & skirt with the belt.

Yep! I think Sprite was one of ’em! All dances used are from Sine Wave.
