This looks like a real foot, doesn’t it?

I’m pairing the Maitreya Gold Esprit Xtd in Noir with one of my favorite Elate! dress, the Felicity in Blush. Elate & Decoy is having a grand opening on their sim today, and they’re giving away free gifts!! The Elate Sunny Dress & Elate Sunny Ring is free during the opening.

If you haven’t tried Exile‘s new textures you’re totally missing out!! I’ve found yet another favorite Blonde, the Champagne has a lot of depth, and is just really sexy (shhh… I’m wearing it with the Phoebe skin even though the brows are Brown!). I would do anything for lighter brows on this skin!

What I’m Wearing:
Laqroki – Phoebe 06 [Fair] Glow skin
Exile – Courtney Remix (Champagne)
Elate! – Sunny Rose Ring
Donna Flora – Loretta jewelry set
Elate! – Silvia Sunny Dress
Elate! – Felicity (Blush)

Walter: Did you learn nothing from my chemistry class?
Jesse: No. You flunked me, remember? You prick! Now let me tell you something else. This ain’t chemistry – this is art. Cooking is art. And the shit I cook is the bomb, so don’t be telling me.
Walter: The shit you cook is shit. I saw your set-up. Ridiculous. You and I will not make garbage. We will produce a chemically pure and stable product that performs as advertised. No adulterants. No baby formula. No chili powder.
Jesse: No, no, chili P is my signature!
Walter: Not anymore.
Let’s cook! The new My Cook Set from Monso is exactly what I’ve wanted since watching Breaking Bad. This HazMat suit is AMAZING, available in SkyBlue, Orange, Yellow, and there are masks!! If you’re not obsessed with this suit, we can’t be friends! I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE IT. Do you love it?
I’ve just realized that my entire outfit (including the fabulous hair) is from Monso. Monso overload!
What I’m Wearing:
Pink Fuel Skin
Monso – Lizzy (Light Blonde)
Monso – My Cook Suit (SkyBlue)
Monso – My Cook Mask (White)
Monso – My Leather Oxford
These Moon Eyes from Dead Apples are out of this world! They’re a gorgeous group gift, be sure to join the Dead Apples Little Shop group in SL, and check notices to get it. I’m wearing the texture eyes (the mesh prim eyes are included too), cos I didn’t want to fuss with re-positioning them to fit.
My outfit today is something I threw together, cos I wanted to wear the new Oversized Shirt from Mon Tissu. Oui, I like this casual outfit.
What I’m Wearing:
Pink Fuel – Sora (Peach)
Truth – London (Swedish)
Mon Tissu – Oversized Shirt (XS) Oui
R.icielli – ANNA Mesh Jeans (previous hunt gift)
G-Field – Flower Pumps “Eve”
Monso – My Bunny Band Gift (Skull)
I like rompers, even the word itself is fun to say. This Ebele Romper from Mutresse comes with a HUD to customize the fabric for parts of the romper, and the belt. I am wearing the Aurora Spiked Platform Heels from L. Warwick, while it’s not very practical for walking outdoors, it could double as a weapon! 😀
Are you guys into prints? How about Camo prints? Or Animal prints? Let me know in the comments!
What I’m Wearing:
Pink Fuel Skin
Exile – After the Rain
Mutresse – Ebele Romper (M)
L. Warwick – Aurora (Platform Heels) Spiked Patent Noir
I didn’t need or even want a new mesh head, but for L$99 I decided to give the Akeruka Milena head a try. I haven’t worn an AK head in a long time, so I honestly don’t remember what I thought of them before. Today I’ll share my honest reaction to this Milena head. First of all, it works really well right out of the box. Since it’s made for EvoX, I was able to wear the exact same skin and makeup that I already use with my LeLutka EvoX head. I didn’t have to press any buttons or change settings to get it to work, it just did, and that was a nice surprise.
As with any new mesh head, I tried to tweak the shape to look like Gogo. The nose and lips were fairly easy to adjust, but the eyes gave me a hard time. I wasn’t happy with the profile or the chin either, which were the most challenging areas for me. I also noticed that no matter how I adjusted my shape, the closed-eye animation made my eyeballs poke through the eyelids. The eyes are rigged too tightly against the lids, so that’s definitely a problem if you like to use blinking or closed-eye animations.
Even though this head is only L$99, I don’t think it’s inferior to Akeruka’s full-priced mesh heads. It seems to be the same product, with the same HUD and the same challenges. I really hope those issues get fixed, because overall it’s easy to use and looks great right away.
If you just want a pretty face and don’t care about closing your eyes or using animations, this head might be perfect for you.
