Yay, it’s Bubblegum Weekends! I’ve been redoing my sim this week and having so much fun putting it all back together (after I blew it up)! I redo my personal sim space quite often, and I find it so relaxing.
I thought this new Kym outfit from Severed Garden was just the perfect outfit to landscape in, cos it’s so cute and comes with sexy sculpted top, panties, belt, a matching hair flower, flower basket, armband, and anklebands.

I had a different look in mind for this week’s Bubblegum Weekend post, but once I tried on this new Eve hairstyle from Wasabi Pills, I knew had to create a Mermaid look! The beads, and string are color-changing so you can create lots of cute combos to match your outfit. I chose to wear the Aquatic hair color, cos it just pops against my light colored Lumina Nymph outfit from Evie’s Closet.

My look for this week’s Bubblegum Weekends is a mix of style — the outfit is casual, but the hair reminds me of the futuristic updo that the Tron girls wore in the movie. Anyways, I’m going with it, cos I love this Helen hairstyle from RezIpsa Loc.

I totally remembered Bubblegum Weekends this week (I missed it last weekend), and this week I’m feeling a lil’ Minty. I tinted the new Head Mistress Wind in the Willows (White) hair to a light Mint Green, and it tinted really well. You can’t tell in the pictures but I tinted some strands slightly darker than the others to try and add some depth. Some hair textures don’t really tint well, but I find that most are tint-able, and they will look fine for pictures.

F-I-N-A-L-L-Y! The much anticipated Elly skin from Pink Fuel was released this weekend and it was definitely worth the wait. The full release includes 22 makeups, 3 different brow colors (Light, Dark and Red), freckles, and 5 lip gloss packs (with/without teeth) on tattoo layer.
I modded my lips for this skin, and nothing else — the face is just gorgeous already! I have tried to create a more “mature” face but ended up not liking that as much as my regular shape. If you’re  fan of the young and cute look, this skin definitely suits it, but even if you’re not, the lipstick tattoos can be worn with other skins (yay, they’re transparent!)

I am not showing you all the eye makeups (Bad, Gogo!) but SL has been terribly crashy for me this weekend. I will show you the Pure (bare) Elly face, along with all the Juicy lip gloss!

Exile has just released this amazing short Nomi hairstyle that includes a color changing hair flower. AW! So cute! This blog post will be my final Bubblegum Weekends post for this weekend, then I’ll resume wearing normal hair colors and try some new colors next weekend.
G-Field released a new Wrap Mini Skirt and Lucy Lace top and they’re adorable! G-Field is so awesome, and fantastically priced. I picked up a pack of the lace tops, cos well-done lace is so hard to find in SL!

Kicking off this weekend with my first Bubblegum Weekends challenge post, by showing you the whole outfit this time. LOL. I put together this look with “kawaii” in mind, so I pulled out a couple of new and old accessories. I am wearing one of three new hairstyles from Elikatira – this Garden hairstyle is ADORABLE. The color-changing headband and loosely braided pigtails is to die for.

We we we so excited to bring you this new blog challenge. I am obsessed with Teal colored hair lately, so I thought it would be cute to start a challenge that encourages SL residents to start wearing unnatural hair colors. I asked my Plurk peeps to help me with a name, and Anemysk came up with the name Bubblegum Weekends. I love it! That’s what we’re calling it.
What is Bubblegum Weekends?

This challenge encourages YOU to wear unnatural hair colors (Pink, Blue, Green, Purple, etc.)

Every weekend! Saturday and Sunday. If you want to do it on Friday, that’s cool too 🙂
