Tp to AMBIANCE

AMBIANCE has just released the Athena Living room set, so I've decided to upgrade my living room so it would match my AMBIANCE kitchen. Like other AMBIANCE furniture, this set includes a texture-changing menu, built-in poses, and tons of accessories.

The Athena Living Room set has 4 different themes (Black, Blue, Cream, and Earthtones), changeable via a menu. I really love this feature because I change my mind constantly, so it's nice to know that I have options to go for a rich dark theme or a light and airy theme.

(view from the double french doors)

*Not shown here is the matching book case & matching fireplace because my living room is too small!

Tp to AMBIANCE for more awesome furniture sets

Have you been to Mish Mish? They sell these adorable Lil Veggie family shoulder pets, each is controlled by a HUD (seen above). The owner can wear the pet along with the HUD and choose different animations such as kiss, wave, jump, and sleep.

If you're in the mood to garden, the Mish Mish Vegetable Patch can grow tomatoes, carrots, radishes, and sprouts, all selectable via a menu. There are cute garden acessories sold at the shop as well, so you can decorate your garden area with seed packets, a watering can, and a mini shovel.

TP to Mish Mish, there are lots of cute and giftable items.

Xeniversity is having a grand opening tomorrow and you're all invited! I had the pleasure of checking out the sim today and it is so different from other furniture/prefab shops. The 'build' consists of a platform made up of cubes with platforms on different levels for you to shop in an open, unconfined space. There's already furniture and a prefab there, with promises of more to come soon.

I had the pleasure of seeing the Canal St. Loft prefab skybox up-close and I am so impressed with the textures and built-in features. Here is the official graphic with some pictures and all the specs listed:

Here are some pictures I snapped in-world, totally un-retouched so you can see that the skybox will look exactly like it does in the vendor ad. All the shadows are baked onto he textures so it really does look like this once you rez it!

Outside view (texture-changeable)

Walls (texture-changeable)

Incredible ceiling & Door (it's scripted to open & close)

For a box that is 22x22x12meters, it sure looks big! Here's a picture of me inside the loft skybox. There's plenty of room inside for furniture, or a studio or whatever you want to use it for. The open space is very versatile.

Well, you know I can't do a blog post without a picture of me somewhere… 😀 I think this skybox is great for photographs.

Here's a little tip for you guys reading this, if you can't wait to see the Canal St. Loft up-close; it is set for sale right now, even though the sim has not officially opened yet! Tp to Xeniversity.

Here's a copy of the invitation notecard with relevant date/time information for everyone interested in attending the grand opening party tomorrow:

I love home decor in SL! I'm constantly buying furniture sets and then giving it away to friends after I'm bored with them. For months now, I have been using the fabulous Artilleri kitchen set (which I love and will now need to find a new home for), but I fell in-love with a new kitchen set so it was time for some major renovation.

The before picture shows my kitchen, mostly decorated with Artilleri items. The after picture shows my new kitchen, renovated with decor from AMBIANCE Interactive Furnishings. I'm using the Esmerelda Kitchen set, which is sold as a complete set or separately (pick and choose your own pieces).

AMBIANCE Esmerelda Kitchen features (from notecard):

– This beautiful kitchen coordinates with the Esmerelda Living and Dining Room Sets
– Stools, Island and Kitchen Wall Unit all feature Menu Driven Animations by SL's top animators (including sitting, cooking, cleaning, relaxing and couples animations)
– Texture Change!  This set includes a texture change feature so that it changes into 4 different color/texture collections of Black, Beach, Forest and Plum.  Get FOUR sets for the price of one!
– Lights and fireplace turn on and off by touch

I love that there are animations built into the set and includes a menu to change textures to match my home. I've chosen the 'Beach' texture option since I prefer the lighter counter tops. The decors included in this set makes it 'homey' and feels like a real kitchen.

I had a problem with the fireplace being too big for my small home, so the creator Desiree Bisiani resized it for me. I'm really impressed with the customer service so far, so I would definitely consider furnishing more rooms in my home with Ambiance items.

Here's a photo of the entire set! So beautiful! Tp to AMBIANCE Interactive Furnishings if you want to see this set and other sets.
