Starting today, all Linden Homes will receive increased land impact! I am genuinely excited that this year, I can rez a Christmas tree without having to delete something from my house first. An increase to 117 land impact feels luxurious when you’ve been managing with just 351. I have a fully furnished home and a lush garden.

512sqm: from 175 to 234 (59 increase)
1024sqm: from 351 to 468 (117 increase)
2048sqm: from 703 to 937 (234 increase)
Plus level subscribers can now also claim a 512 Linden Home. Welcome to Bellisseria! I am not surprised that they assigned the least desirable Linden Home size to the lowest subscription level. When considering the numbers, Plus is only $2.75 cheaper than Premium and offers significantly fewer benefits.
There are other announcements as part of Membership Mania, such as more groups and stored IMs. If this is week 2, I can’t wait to see what weeks 3 and 4 will bring! Since I’m a Premium Plus Lifetime member, they’re not losing my subscription, but there’s still lots of things that Linden Lab can sell to me. Maybe more subscriptions? More land? More region things? What are they going to come up with to make it exciting? I personally would like to see Bellisseria commercial parcels, double-prim premium land with covenant, and so much more.
Hello to new beginnings! I rented a sweet seaside cottage in New Haven, so I guess you could say Gogo is a resident of New Haven, Maine now. I’ve always wanted to move to Maine, to be closer to one of my favorite authors. Can you guess who that is?
New Haven is a roleplay estate with commercial and residential rentals for all budgets. You can even just rent a boat slip, horse stall, or hotel room for as little as L$100/week. This is a roleplaying community if you want to roleplay, but if you just want a nice place to take photos, you can do that too.
From what I’ve seen, New Haven is always full, so if you’d like to rent a home, just sign up for the waitlist! That’s how I got my current place. I signed up months ago, and it just recently became available.
Dernier Cri has an amazing new hair collection out at Hair Fair. I’m really impressed with these styles, they’re so kawaii and I’m just in-love with the light pinkish texture.

I really like that Dernier Cri hairstyles comes with a HUD to change the hair colors. This reduces inventory clutter and also makes it super easy to mod a style once and just recolor vs. having to modify several hairs to fit. However, I think in laggy sims, the re-color process can take awhile and I’ve noticed that sometimes I have to do it several times before the script recolors all the prims properly (again… probably lag, not really an issue with the hair).
Dernier Cri has only released hair once this year (I think I bought most of them) but I really hope that Asuka Martin does more!! These are probably some of my favorites from Hair Fair this year.
Also, as much as I adore Dernier Cri hair, I really wished that the creator’s head shape is more like my own. When I resize the hairstyles, I’ve noticed that the back is always an issue for me. I prefer to just stretch rather than having to move prims around because I don’t like messing with the hairstyle or risk the textures not lining up properly. My head is round and I have a long head profile. I realize that not everyone has a bobble head line mine, but I am that much happier when I can just stretch hair to fit and not have to move prims around.
Are there some brands in SL that fits you perfectly, and others that are either much too small or too large?
Also, I found the best $300L skin yesterday at Mother Goose. I’m normally not really a fan of skins that are more hand-drawn like this but I just *love* this little face!! Love love love <3 I picked up makeup 3 for $300L but the fatpack is just $1200L. If you’re on a budget, there’s a 1L Josephine skin, this landmark will take you to the freebie area. The lipstick is different on the freebie skin, but still adorable.
See? I share!! It doesn’t bother me at all that people think I am a “horrible” blogger, or my little fashionista soul needs saving cos it’s so evil and dark and and and and.. yeah.

I’m so used to taking pics by myself that it takes me forever to find a proper group pose. I dug through my Glitterati folder and found this adorable Contest-Friends pose (the phone is included). It was just the perfect pose for 2 girls! I wish people made more poses for girl friends 😛 *hint hint*

This dress is so briiiiiiiight! The Plisse Dress in Mustard from Fishy Strawberry is just the perfect color to make a splash in! I don’t wear Yellow too often, but I think it’s a fabulous color, and it’s so cheery.
Check out the amazing detail on this Boyfriend Belt from Fishy Strawberry. The belt goes perfectly with this Plisse Dress, but I’m sure I could find other ways to wear it, too.

You guys know I love skins, but when I try one on and it’s full of seams or the nose is pixelated, it is the biggest let down! I tried on the much anticipated Stephanie skins from Exodi, and I noticed right away that the nose had pixelation on the nostrils, which was extremely distracting.
Usually I can overlook minor flaws if the face is “hot”, but the nose turned me off, and so did the random seams all over the body. It just seems sloppy to me to release skins with this many flaws, especially since Exodi is not a ‘new’ brand.
When I try on skin demos, I teleport to my skybox and strip down! I look ALL over. I look for seams, I check out the teeth, and the ‘gina! Do you guys normally look at these areas of the skins?
