I flew around SL in search of an interesting beach for my snapshots and I’m reminded of why I hate in-world shots. Whenever I’m on a sim by myself and another avatar teleports in, they will find me and strike up a conversation or stand somewhere in my frame, or maybe even push me a little. C’mon sl newbs residents, if you see someone posing kind of awkwardly and standing in a far corner by themselves, just leave them alone.

I paid AMG Boudoir a visit today and noticed they had some new hair releases out. I’m wearing the Simpson style in Blonde, I love the long flowy style. If you haven’t been to AMG Boudoir, you should! They’re the hair shop with a Gogolita hairstyle that I pretend is named after me. 😛

Are these the victorian mini-mansions of your virtual dreams? I waited impatiently along with most of the Bellisseria residents for the 4th Linden Home theme reveal. You can go check them out right now at the SL Christmas Expo, an American Cancer Society charity fundraising event.
From what I can tell, there are 4 victorian home styles to choose from, three of the homes are two-story and one is a single-story cottage. I think the inside walls can be different colors, and the homes all have porches attached, which appears to have the option to select the porch to be on the left or right side of the home.
I don’t know why I’m not that excited about these homes. I think it’s the distressed textures, I am not a fan of super distressed furnishings in SL. I guess I’ll have to see if I can score a mini-victorian on the beach and turn it into a beachy victorian, LOL!! Did I ever tell you guys that I hate grass? Yea, I hate grass.

This “currently crashing out” print on the Honey Cropped Tank from The Kiwi Co. feels a little too relatable right now, because mainland has been testing me lately.
When I first went Premium back in 2019 to get a Linden Home, it was also the first time I could finally own mainland. I eventually bought a snowy parcel that I absolutely loved and kept it from 2022 onward. It was extremely landlocked and surrounded on three sides by massive ugly ice walls from neighboring parcels, but somehow I still made it work because I liked the region.
Recently, several abandoned coastal parcels nearby became available after a former neighbor left. I submitted support tickets hoping to expand naturally into the coastline, but instead the parcels were sent individually to auction. I managed to buy some of them, but after getting outbid on the final piece, I realized I was done fighting with the region. The walls finally won.
I still wanted snow land though, so I moved a couple regions over and spent a pretty significant amount acquiring new coastal land through auctions and direct purchase from a land baron. In total, it probably cost around $500 USD worth of Lindens, but I was excited to finally own a beautiful coastal snow parcel.
Then I discovered a 32m micro parcel sitting directly in the middle of my new land.
The owner had no other land in the region and was asking L$32,000 for it.
That isn’t normal land use. It’s extortion.
I submitted another support ticket hoping Linden Lab would step in, especially since Second Life already has a policy against land cutting practices. Unfortunately, my request was denied, and no discretion was used to resolve what is very obviously a bad-faith micro parcel situation. That part is what disappoints me the most.
As someone still relatively new to mainland ownership, I’m starting to understand why so many residents say mainland can be incredibly frustrating. One bad neighbor or one strategically placed micro parcel can completely ruin an otherwise beautiful area.
And if anyone is wondering how my planned move from Gaeta 1 to New Zindra is going, it isn’t. I bought Gaeta 1 land back on April 15, but after realizing I’d likely be at the very end of the migration queue, I decided to put everything up for sale instead. At this point, I’d rather just settle into my snow land and enjoy it in peace.

Luxuria needs a new logo and after spending hours and hours designing this new collection, my mind is not in the right space for creating a new logo. I don’t want to settle for something that I will not be happy with long term and decided to take up a suggestion from a blogger – have a logo contest!The winner will get 2000 lindens and the entire collection of Luxuria lingerie – every color of every design in the opening collection.I think the name of the brand says a lot about what I want in a logo. Aranel's Wings from BOOM is simply divine. The wings are all prim and has a heart charm attached to it. There are 2 versions – flared wings or regular (resting flat against your back). With holidays coming up, I definitely think these wings will be a great addition for costumes.
There wings were made to match the Boom 'Tamed' Dress, which is actually very tame from the front but oh-so-sexy on the back. It comes in a bunch of colors, there's even a "Gogo's Pink" which is a soft baby Pink. If you buy it in your favorite color, be sure to buy Gogo Pink too!!!
When you're wearing wings these sexy, you can go without clothes, too. I threw on my favorite pair of BAX Prestige boots (which comes in Brown now too) and I'm ready to go!
