Beauty Avatar is giving away a free skin ~ teleport to the sim and find the skin inside a package on the desk. This is the Beauty Avatar 'Alyssa' gift skin. Tp to Beauty Avatar!
(Before you think of buying a Beauty Avatar skin, please check the seams and skin texture. I think they have a long way to go on the torso, the skin tone is not even at all.)
Vive9 has hair now!
This brand is mostly known for their skins, but they’re venturing into hair now, and they’ve launched a small collection of hairstyles this past weekend. I tried on all three new hairstyles, but settled on this long gorgeous styled called Fredja.
Each hair pack is $250L, and the fatpack is $900L. I like that there’s only one Blonde pack, so I get all 8 Blonde colors with a single purchase.
I’m usually not a fan of roots but this is the first time that I’ve seen it done very nicely and realistic in SL. Check out the roots on this Dust&Sugar texture! 🙂
Donna Flora – BACI Necklace & Earrings (this is the perfect VDay gift, and transferable) | G-Field – Heart Bag (Pink, hunt item) | G-Field – Flower Pumps “Eve” (for sale in-store)
G-Field is having a Sweet Heart Hunt (ends February 14th), you can score lots of Valentine themed goodies! Search for a teddy bear.
I love the outfit I made using a mix of free (hunt) items and some purchased items. If I went on dates in SL, this would totally be my Valentine’s day “date” outfit. It’s cute cute cute and oh-so-pink (the best color in the world)!
What I’m Wearing:
Vive9 – Fredja in Dust&Sugar
LeLutka – Gem/Golden-Makeup5 (L Brows) coming soon
Donna Flora – BACI Necklace & Earrings
G-Field – VD Balloon Dress (Pink, hunt item)
G-Field – Heart Bag (Pink, hunt item)
G-Field – Flower Pumps “Eve”
Wow wow wow, check out this new Mirai Style hair. Usually this shop is a hit or miss for me. Some of the styles are adorable and some styles are off – like it doesn’t fit right, the prims are a mess, etc. HOWEVER, today I got lucky. This new Kumy style is ADORABLE, and curly, and BIG. I purchased one in Blonde and one in Dark Brown. The head band is scripted to change 12 different colors.
My guess is that you’ll see this hairstyle everywhere, for the next couple of days. It’s hot!

Happy Friday everyone! I love this sparkly Sequined Top from Tres Blah. I’m keeping this look simple, without accessories, cos I think the new Yalin Sandals from Hucci makes this outfit. These shoes include a HUD to change the sole and main texture. I looove the gold detail at the ankle, and there’s no heel! Do you guys like shoes without a heel?
What I’m Wearing:
Pink Fuel – Harley (Peach)
LaViere – Megan (CandieMix)
Tres Blah – Sequined Top (S) Lavender
Tres Blah – Paneled Shorts (S) White
Hucci – Yilan Sandals
The Drowsy sim is so stunning, it is the perfect place to show off this new Exile Kylie hairstyle. I wear the Pink Candy color sometimes cos I really love Pink (big shock…)! I could probably wear it all the time but I don’t because it doesn’t go with everything! 😛
My outfit today is a mix of old and new. The Chiki Chiki top from Sweetest Goodbye is a past release and it is fully sculpted and just perfect. I’m pairing it with the newly released Summer Flirt skirt from Djinn & Tonic.
What I’m Wearing:
Exile – Kylie (Candy)
LeLutka – Lola (Light) Makeup8 (L Brows)
LeLutka – Lola (Lipstick) Pale
Sweetest Goodbye – chiki Chiki (Check)
Djinn & Tonic – Summer Flirt Skirt (White)
Juicy – Classic Pumps (Strawberries And Cream)

The Vanity Universe Skin Fair is opened now!
Perhaps I’m not the best blog to read if you want complete skin fair coverage this year. I’ve seen a lot of good, bad, and plain ugly skins over this past weekend. I’ll try to feature just a few of my “must haves” from the entire fair over this week. So far, I’ve found a few skins worth checking out!
When I did a massive inventory cleaning awhile ago, I deleted my entire Lara Skins folder. I had a couple of skins that I’ve purchased from Lara Skins but wore maybe once or twice? While the faces were always cute, the skins lacked options and were also not well made (had seams, the skin texture is grainy, etc).
I passed by Lara Skins several times before finally grabbing a demo, and after determining that I could work with this face, I gave it a chance. I thought Ava was pretty cute, and the price is attractive — $1900L fatpack of 5 skins with hair base, dark brows, a cleavage enhancer (on undershirt layer, not available on tattoo), and five additional tattoo makeups that includes smokey eyes, pink blush, and three eyeshadows. This skin has a pretty face, the body is OK (some area of the legs and overall I think it’s grainy) but I think this is an improvement for Lara Skins since the last time I checked it out.
These dark brows are OK, but I prefer lighter brows, so I wore the Lara Hurley Claire blonde eyebrows over the Ava skin. The blonde Claire brows tattoo is sold with the Claire skins pack, and not included with Ava. If you purchase an Ava skin pack (and don’t already own Claire), you might be able to ask Lara Hurley for the tattoo brows for free 🙂
Putting together my look today was easy, I wanted something Brown to go with this gorgeous new Spring necklace and Spring deer headpiece from LaGyo.
What I’m Wearing:
LaGyo – Spring necklace & earrings (gold)
LaGyo – Spring deer headpiece
Elikatira – Novel (Blonde 05)
Tiny Bird – Skinny Love (Taupe)
G-Field – Flower Pumps “Eve” Rose
just went and picked up that freebie, its a shame about the seams thats a really easy issue to fix as well
This skin looks cuter on you than on the vendor shot 🙂
I love this face! Maybe they should send skins for testing before selling… I wish more designers use this method ;/
they’re releasing new skins too often, instead of trying to fix the issues they have, they’re just busy trying to make money.
