Four fabulous new makeups have been released by Gala Phoenix! The “Dramatic” makeup set includes rich lipstick and dark eyes.
Shown above in the Lumine skin tone.
I’m really digging this latest release by katat0nik! The Katty Dress comes in an assortment of colors — I chose a girlie lavender color with light blue and teal. It’s perfect with the Mikan – Love Mouse hair and Periquita‘s Round Retro Pink pumps.
Oh yeah.. I’ve finally found some use for the freebie G.L.A.M Tintable Lycra Tights pack! Tinted it to match perfectly with the Katty Dress, yay!
Redgrave is back!!! I’ve been seeing teasers of this new Megan skin for months and couldn’t wait to try it on. Megan comes in 2 skin tones – pale and tan, and includes a hair base. The brows are only available in Dark Brown, so it may or may not work with lighter color hair (you can try… but I like it with Brunette hair colors). I think the face is pretty sweet, but there’s a faint but noticeable line going from the nose tip to the upper lip that I don’t like so much. However, these skins are only $2999L for the whole fatpack of 15 makeups! It’s a great deal for your money if you love the skins.
I’m wearing Redgrave – Megan in Pale below:
This is the body for Megan, and it’s pretty much the same as all the previous releases. I think the Megan face is less shiny than other past releases so it doesn’t really suit this body that much, but I’d till wear it.
People ask me all the time what eyes I wear, and I wear a ton of different brands! I do stick to brands who have smaller irises because they fit my eye size better. These newly released Curio “Tragic” eyes includes 3 different sizes (small, meidum, large) and also prim attachments for each size, so you can mix and match and wear 2 different eye colors at once, for an interesting effect.

Shag is a new hair brand that debut at Hair Fair 2009. Sadie Aries and Sebastien Aries are co-creators of Shag, and have recently launched their main store in Silent. I'm wearing two of the newly releasd hairstyles, Backseat Betty and French Kiss, both in Ivory texture. The French Kiss hair also features a color-changing beret.
If you like these lashes I'm wearing, they're a dollarbie from TOWA; tp to Towa @ the Macos Mall to get it. I use to wear Cake "Bedroom" lashes all the time but after two years, I'm kind of sick of seeing them on my av so I probably will file them away for special occasion only. There are tons of nice lashes out there now.. yay!
I've decided to put together an outfit using various items from Malt and stuff found in my inventory. I love an all white outfit, accessorized with gold jewelry and my yummy L+R+W Venus gold pumps.

I went to SL19B to meet the Lindens! Patch Linden gave an exciting interview with hints about the upcoming Premium Plus membership, which will be available on June 23rd, 2022. At first glance, it appears that nearly all of the benefits will be doubled, but the cost will be TRIPLED. Premium Plus will be $29.99 per month or $249 USD/per year. For 30 days, the introductory price will be $24.99 per month.
âśż cheLLe âśż Frosty Cheeks is a colorful blush set that’s perfect for Wintertime! You can wear this to get a subtle look, or a dramatic look with the Blue or Purple Frosty cheeks!
âśż cheLLe âśż Frost Bitten is a set of six lipstains that adds a bit of color to any skin. Get this if you love lip colors!
I love the idea of winning anything, so for 23 days straight I made the rounds at SL23B, clicking all five Golden Ticket kiosks every single day in hopes of being one of the 23 people selected for a chance to win L$1,000,000. In the end, I wasn’t chosen, but I still went to the live finale, and I’m really glad I did.
The final drawing turned out to be surprisingly emotional. One by one, more than a dozen contestants clicked their mystery boxes, and none of them contained the million. Then, with only seven or eight boxes left, one resident picked box #19, one of the smallest boxes, and won. I had a feeling the prize would be hiding in one of the tiny boxes because that’s always how these random prize games seem to work. You always pick the little box, even in a virtual world.
What surprised me most was that many of the finalists got on voice before making their choice. I wasn’t expecting that at all, and several of their short speeches were genuinely heartfelt. I even teared up a little when Spike Bloodrose gave a shout-out to his best friend. It was a really sweet moment.
Linden Lab said they received more than 180,000 entries, which made me wonder how they were counting them. I personally submitted 115 entries by clicking all five kiosks every day for 23 days (23 Ă— 5 = 115). If every kiosk click counted as a separate entry, that works out to roughly 1,565 unique participants, assuming everyone entered every day.
As for the event itself, I found the daily clicking pretty tedious. It wasn’t much of a game, and it certainly didn’t encourage me to explore the exhibits. Even though kiosk #5 kept moving every few days, I still never stopped to look around. Next year, I’d rather see a simple one-time entry where everyone has the same odds instead of asking people to repeat the same routine every day.
The gap on the SLink mesh hands wrist used to drive me insane, until I read a tip from a fellow SLer that SLink has a new (longer) alpha layer that fixed the problem. This was months ago, and for some reason I had assumed that everyone knew about the fix, until my friend Elle asked me today how to fix the gap. Well, I’m not sure if you’re suppose to get an updated package, but I went to the SLink store and bought a new (free) demo that had the newer alpha layer in it.
If the new alpha layer still doesn’t fix your gap, you may have to adjust your body sliders a bit. More info about that, on this post.
I also want to give a shout out to Sandrika Broono for sending me an alpha layer that she made for the hands back in May, before there was a fix. You rock! 🙂
