I have a have some of the best SL photographers on my Flickr contact list, and they inspire me to keep trying to take better photos. Sometimes I don’t think I’ll ever be as good as some of my favorites, but I’m really happy that there are still things I can learn, and want to learn! Even when people say my photos are basic/boring/style is boring, I think that I do have a favorite lighting style — bright, cheerful? Gogo lives in a sunny, happy place in SL.

Four new hairstyles from Exile! My favorite style is Nymph cos it’s so much like Barbie’s hair, and the bangs are perfect. Steph has a color-changeable hair bow that can be turned off (I have it turned off in the picture above).

I wanted this Jungle Stuff outfit from PFC, so I found all the pieces at different yard sales. I bought everything at pull price, and nothing was rare, so it was super easy to acquire. I loved the hula skirt upon seeing it on the ad, but ads can be deceiving. This skirt looks nice on, but it does not appear to be rigged (at all…?). You won’t be able to sit, bend, or do anything other than stand (very straight)Â and lay with your derriere alpha’d out. LOL.
I had high hopes for this outfit, cos the idea is so cute and just my style. Some pieces even include a HUD to change textures. I think the designer could do a lot better with rigging, cos I won’t be back for future items without demoing first to ensure that they are well rigged. I didn’t try a demo, cos I didn’t go to The Arcade so I don’t even know if there’s any.
This post was not meant to be a long list of complaints! It was cheap, I liked it enough to collect all the pieces that I wanted, but I still thought it was worth mentioning, since it’s valid critique.

Hello from Fantasy, the latest Linden Homes theme. This theme is lit, LOL. Everything glows here, and it’s easy to see why it can be too intense for most people. If you want something “not suburban” then this theme is for you.
I didn’t plan on getting a Fantasy home, but I will probably keep one for a while and see how it goes. The interior of the homes is quite nice, with big windows and spacious rooms. If you want to live together with your friends, it’s easy to do so here, cos entire regions will release together. NOW IS THE TIME TO GET A FANTASY HOME.

Clawtooth – The Seas Met (AutumnMix) | Lovely Liz Pony (Bombshell Blonde)
Clawtooth is a hair store that I avoided for for months and months because I didn’t like the styles or textures when it first launched. Everyone said it was “so awesome” but I thought the sculpted prims were rough at first, and they still had a long way to go before the styles were wearable.
FINALLY, a couple of releases ago, I demo’d and fell in love with two styles. Then I went back for more…
I will be keeping an eye out for new Clawtooth releases now, because I think this brand has improved significantly and it’s actually something that I would wear normally and not just with costumes.
I’m still waiting for a nice Blonde texture but the Reds are superb! A certain little Red headed avatar got me hooked on Clawtooth.
I’m wearing the Laqroki Pearl skin again today. I love this skin but it doesn’t have a dark Red lipstick, so I typically just wear the nude makeups. But today I was still wearing the Lola (LeLutka) lipstick tattoo layer and I noticed that it lined up very well. It looks fabulous together, but I still wish Mallory Cowen would release tattoo lipstick layers for the Laq skins too, cos I like her lip textures.
I don’t really like the SL 2.0 client but I am suffering through it cos I love tattoo make-up layers!
