Truth – Adele 2 (also comes with bangs) | Bea 2 | Kymberly (also comes with bangs)
So much new hair goodness this weekend!!!! Truth and Exile both released 3 hairstyles each. I don’t know about you, but I’m feeling very spoiled by all these fantastic new hair releases!
Exile – Morrigan | Roxy | Pandora
Check out this new Hucci Kyle dress! Isn’t it sexy? I’m a big RHBH (Real Housewives of Beverly Hills) fan, and I think this is inspired by the dress that Kyle wore in the show finale. STUNNING! 🙂
What I’m Wearing:
LeLutka – Gem/Golden-Base/L-Brows
Truth – Adele 2 (Swedish)
cheLLe – (blush) Everyday Blush 3
Donna Flora – LELLA necklace
Hucci – Kyle (Black)
G-Field – Flower Pumps “Eve” Black
Machang Pichot has been quiet for a few months, but she’s back now with some gorgeous new goodies!
I’ve always been a fan of AOHARU’s coats for years, and the Feminine Fur Tippet Coat arrived just in time for those Spring showers! The Classic Drape Suit and the Feminine Fur Tippet Coat can be worn with or without fur attachments. I like it both ways, these two outfits are so versatile and can be dressed up or dressed down!
Ohhhh.. I forgot to mention that Juicy Shoes now has a flickr group!!! Please submit photos of yourself wearing Juicy to be selected for our shop poster! Thanks!
It’s Galentine’s Day, and two of my favorite girls in Second Life just released the cutest stuff. The kind of things you gift to yourself and conveniently “accidentally” buy for your friends too.
First up is the Versailles Love Cup from Flair, which is definitely Gogo-approved. I love holdables, and I love them even more when there are options so I can match it to my outfit.
Sparkle Skye also just released the Fiona Collection for Gacha Arcana, so if gacha’s your thing, go play. The best part is you can mix and match all the pieces, which is dangerous for me because I’ll absolutely convince myself I need every variation.
I’m currently obsessed with the Fiona ring, which is a Vault item, but don’t ask me to explain how to play Gacha Arcana because I genuinely don’t know. Sparkle tried to explain it to me, and I nodded like I understood, but I wasn’t retaining any of it. I think it has something to do with getting rewarded for playing a lot. That’s all I’ve got.
After I put together today’s outfit, I realized it was giving equestrian vibe. Which is funny because I don’t plan outfits based on themes. I wear things based on whatever pops up on my radar.
Like this Stella top from Tres Blah, which popped up again because it’s on sale. I already owned it, so I just grabbed a redelivery for LaraX and suddenly it felt like I bought something new without spending money. I love when brands update older items for previous customers. It’s one of the few things in SL that still feels genuinely nice.
This new hat hairstyle is from Wings, and you can customize the logo area with your own text. I made it my name because the template was easy to use with clear instructions. I normally don’t customize anything because I’m lazy, but this one was worth the effort.
While Gacha Arcana from MadPea is fresh on my mind, I want to say something as a resident and customer. I think there are way too many events in Second Life, and I’m saying that as someone whose main hobby in SL is literally shopping.
Even I only go to maybe one or two events a week, and when I go, I mean I teleport in, hit the brands I already know, buy what I came for, and leave. I’m not wandering. I’m not browsing. I’m in and out.
Meanwhile, every month, I watch event companies create even more events, and all it does is spread the same sales thinner and thinner for everyone.
And to be clear, I’m not personally calling out Gacha Arcana here. This applies to pretty much every event company over the past year that has not only created more monthly events on top of their existing ones, but also added marketplace counterparts, weekend sales counterparts, one-off holiday events, and even brought gacha back into the mix. At some point, all of this stops helping creators and starts hurting them.
Recently I heard that some creators participating in Gacha Arcana noticed the low traffic and lack of sales, so they brought it up with the organizer. The organizer blamed it on the real life economy affecting sales in SL. And yes, that’s true. The economy is weird right now. People are cautious. Disposable income is tighter.
But event organizers in SL also need to take some responsibility for the mess they’ve helped create. When you keep stacking events on top of events, you create an economic downward spiral. The user base isn’t big enough to support an endless stream of new events popping up just because organizers want to squeeze even more event fees out of creators for their own benefit.
The new Exile hairstyles have built-in hats!!! I’m thrilled about this, cos it’s nearly impossible to find any hairstyles to fit perfectly underneath the hat. This look is inspired by nothing in particular, but it’s an outfit that I would love to have in RL.
What I’m Wearing:
LOGO – Infinity Chloe Hybrid Mesh Avatar
Exile – A Winter’s Tale (Brownie)
Monso – My School Look (Blazer) Size2/S
Maitreya – Moxie Over-Knee Socks (Choco)
Mon Tissu – Heathrow Boots (Chocolate)
The Secret Store – Tiny Satchel (Leather)
The 2nd Annual Starlust Panty Raid is on! This event runs from August 14th – August 30th.
You're looking for clams, so find them and receive panties, lots of panties (and bras)!!! Hucci has 3 clams out and inside you will get the 3 panty sets shown above, except for the 3rd item does not have a bra! So my avatar has her boobs showing here, it's because Eboni didn't make a bra top, woops!
Hey, While i’ve always liked your pics and write-ups, this one has me a bit sad. The title of the post is about boots, and then you proceed to go on about a jacket, showing only one picture of the boots which show nothing about them. for all you can honestly see in the picture, they might as well be just two black prims. some good pictures of the boots showing a side profile to them etc so people can see what they actually look like instead of simply two pics showing off how good you look in those pictures would be much more appreciated. a little blurb out of three paragraphs about the boots does not mean the post should be entitled Coco boots. -Quandri
Once in awhile, I get feedback on JuicyBomb that I completely agree with! You’re totally right Quandri, that was fail on my part to gush about the boots here, then not even show a close-up picture. What can I say? I was trying to do artsy in-world images and my train of thought when I do those are totally different from my regular* posts.
*Regular = boring snapshot on my pose stand with a plain background.
A lot of bloggers do Look of the Day (LoTD) type posts and never show any close-ups but I actually prefer to shoot something plainly rather than do LoTD type posts. I guess I like to mix it up once in awhile, but when I don’t do a close-up, I get totally called out for it! 😛
Doing close-ups with a plain background is faster for me than going in-world and finding a nice place to take photographs. But it just seems that people in SL are constantly praising the blogs that do “such amazing photos” or people who are awesome at Photoshopping that I feel like my blog is um, boring. Well, boring but it gets the job done because I get between 2000-3000 visits daily (and closer to 4000 when I’m bitching at something, lol).
Anyways, Quandri made a very good point about the CoCo Boots. I should have done a close-up photo. I don’t like it when people gush about something and you can barely see it in their photo, and then.. blah, I did it on my own blog.
So here you go, lots of close-ups! I hope these will encourage you to check out the boots in-world, there are demos! And I’m not paid for by CoCo to do this post.. (or given free shoes, sadly *sobs*).
I make clothes and stuff in RL, and I just bought a pattern that shows how to do this sexy cut-out feature! Basically it involves cutting slashes, and threading each one thru the next, just like those potholders we used to make as kids. Can’t wait to try it!
i like the irony in the fact that IMVU adds are always heading your blog XD
Oh I love them, they are so sassy; Especially Adele 2 & Bea 2!

I loved this dress *-*
