The Engine Room is open! The build for Engine Room is beautiful, and you can tell that this event is truly high quality because it does not occur monthly. I discovered so many items that were absolutely stunning, not just for ladies but for men as well! I couldn’t resist a frilly lace gown, so I chose the Charlotte dress from Web Dew. Sparkle Skye released a very cute Elowen diadem, which comes in three different sizes to fit most hairstyles, but you can also resize it yourself. The HUD allows you to change the color of the roses, leaves, flowers, beads, bands, butterflies, and gems! That’s a lot of ways to customize this diadem to match your outfits.
I am usually blonde, but for this look, I decided to go brunette. Additionally, the hairstyle I am wearing from Doux has a sparse hairline, so I had to wear a hair base; however, this hair base only comes in black. I purchased my very first Doux hair last year, even though this brand has been around for quite some time. I suppose I didn’t think it was very good, or I didn’t like the styles—it’s hard to remember why. Then last year, I began buying some styles because they looked quite cute, but after I started using a PBR viewer, I noticed the hairline and baby hairs were completely off. Other brands are sending out updates to fix PBR hair opacity issues, but I have yet to see anything from Doux. Therefore, I will wear what I have for now, but I won’t purchase any more until the hair textures are fixed.
