Joy to the grid! I look forward to the month of December for all of the fabulous events and free gifts. My inventory is exploding from Shop and Hop. Just when I think I’m all caught up, the LeLutka Holiday Special begins and there are gifts from 54 designers. The event ends on December 30th, so you have a few days left to get the gifts before they’re gone. Check out the Seraphim shopping guide for a closer look at the items.

This was my first time attending the Snowball Fight, and I was pleasantly surprised to learn that being a Premium member comes with its perks, including the best gun available – the SnowZooka (not pictured)! It was great for taking on the Lindens and Moles, and I even spotted Patch Linden hiding under a waterfall.
Continue readingIt feels so good to finally get into the Top 10 in the Bellisseria Trick or Treat event! Last year, I came in Top 35, but I thought that if I had just gotten a few more candies, I would have been in the Top 10. So, my goal for this year was to try to collect all of the candies by going to all of the homes. I got 283 candies on the first day, and by day 7, I had 771. I found out that some of the top 10 winners only had 700 candies, so I could have stopped looking last week. I didn’t want to lose again, so I kept looking and looking until the very last hours last night! In the end, I had hundreds more than I needed to win but I still wasn’t sure I had won until Derrick Linden sent me the bears! <3
Continue readingThe unsung heroes of Second Life marketing and collaboration are resident-run projects. I founded iheartSL in 2008 (over 14 years ago!) to help aggregate Second Life blog contents into a single central location, to help bloggers gain exposure, and to provide readers with a convenient one-stop shop to browse all the latest posts from residents. Over the years, I have mostly funded iheartSL with my own money and advertising support from sponsors. It is critical to support resident-led projects because they have frequently stepped in to fill gaps left by Linden Lab.
Continue readingThis is a late post about the Fourth of July, but for me, it marks the start of Summer. In Second Life, I adore sparklers and particle bits. While I’m not always a fan of bikinis, this is the season for them!
Continue readingHello Beautiful People! As our beloved Gogo mentioned this past weekend in her blog post titled “Summertime” the annual Hair Fair event launched on June 25th. For my contribution to promoting this wonderful event, I picked out three of my favorite Hairdos to feature in today’s post. First up is the oh, so, sublime Leena from Exile. I have to say, Kavar’s textures are some of the best on the grid; and as an ADDED BONUS, this Do is FREE…Yes Ladies and Gents, FREE!

Hello from SL19B! This year’s Second Life birthday celebration is shaping up to be one of the best yet. I’ve been waiting for the right opportunity to wear the Pathos Skirt & Blouse from toksik, and this is it! I just checked the date, and this was purchased in March 2021. I’ve been considering wearing it for over a year. I went to a couple of the main attractions at SL19B, and the Tapestry of Time was my favorite.
Continue reading/Update/ I’m updating this post to say that Patch Linden did not extend the fair for another two weeks. It was an inside joke that apparently I misunderstood. A lot of the attendants at the event were thanking him in local chat and acted excited, so I thought it was part of the planned event/offerings. This reminds me of all the awkward times when Linden Lab would make inside jokes during official events that only a few people got, and it’s super awkward for everyone not privy to the joke. Anyway, the fair ended!
*note* This info is according to the Fantasy Faire organizer on SM.
Did you hear? Fantasy Faire has been extended for another two weeks – courtesy of Patch Linden! Patch announced this at the Jail & Bail event, so you have more time to explore and shop the regions for a good cause. I had a great time attending my first Jail & Bail and seeing all of the goodies up for grabs.
