Zaara Larin Skirt
Yesterday morning I was clicking around Flickr checking out new pictures from my contacts, and I saw Zaara’s Larin skirt and it was like slove at first sight.I thought no ways.. it won’t look that good on my avatar, since Zaara is a great photographer and her vendor images are always flawless. I tried it on in-world and it looks *exactly* like the vendor image, so perfect. The textures line up perfectly and this is a flexi skirt!! Flexi is not dead!! It is my favorite type of skirts in-world, even though sculpted provides more ‘shape’, flex is more wearable and practical for all poses (until SL lets us have flexible sculpties!).

Calling all queens!
Enrollment for Miss Summer Beauty 2012 is now open. The winner receives not only the title of Miss Summer Beauty, but 3000L.
Here are the rules for the contest:
1. Please submit an entry picture to our Summer Beauty Flickr Group. In the picture’s description, please write your in-world name so we know who you are. Please only submit one picture–you can combine multiple panels in one picture for different shots, if you’d like.
2. Anyone can enter–but their avatar shape must be male, and dressed in drag.
3. Please use a skin that does not have much makeup on it. Bonus points if you start with a skin that is actually intended for men.
4. You have five tattoo layers you can use in Second Life. Utilize them! The tat layers can be of your own creation, or something you’ve bought from a store.
5. Have fun with your outfit. We want to see drag! Leave the pedestrian casual dresses at home.
6. At the same time, you don’t have to do the typical fishy-queen aesthetic. Show us some illusion and glamour, but be creative. Genderf*ck is fine, as long as it doesn’t look sloppy.
7. Winners must be present at the final ceremony. We not only want to see a photo, we want to see how your drag looks in person! Please don’t be too drastically different from your submission picture or else we won’t recognize you.
8. Anyone using morphs or excessive photoshop in their submission picture will be disqualified.

Last year I bought this ridiculously adorable and big hair from Gurl 6, which was only worn once! But it's so perfect for the hat and I'm really glad I bought it when it was on sale! Gurl 6 sells limited editions hair of the month, and this is the June 2008 L.E. hair. Here's my tip about limit edition items, even if you slightly want it… go ahead and splurge! Cos when it's gone, it's gone!

The Winter Tales set of Headdress and Scarves from The Secret Store is wearable art!! I immediately fell in love with the prints and design, and can’t wait to wear all of them with future outfits. This Snow headdress includes a HUD to change hair color, or turn the hair off.
I want to wear this headdress with other hairstyles, but didn’t find any that fits cos this is rigged and not adjustable. If you’ve found some styles without bangs or very flat bangs that fits, please let me know in the comments!

Exile; Hair Fair 2011
Hair Fair 2011 is almost here!! The fair opens to the public on July 2nd, but you can try some demos today — just join the Hair Fair DEMO Group in-world to receive them.
I signed up to be a part of Hair Fair Bloggers Day, so I was able to sneak in this morning and take some photos. I used the SLurls list on the HF blog, and was able to locate all of the brands I wanted to see pretty quickly.
ALL hairstyles have at Hair Fair have some proceeds donated to charity, so you don’t really have to worry about that when shopping at this event.
Like previous fairs, there are lots of fabulous new styles & freebies/dollarbies, so come check it out!
I couldn’t decide which brand to blog first, so I’ll just go with one of my favorite brands in SL. Exile hair has 5 new hairstyles out, and they’re all for girls (sorry guys!). I am not complaining though, cos more hair for meeeeeeeeeee.
