Just some moody shots as we approach Halloween! Are you already going to Halloween parties in RL or SL? I haven’t yet, but I have decorated my house with lots of pumpkins and string lights! I also think I might attend the official Creepy Crawl on Friday.
From 10-3pm on October 30th, users across the grid will visit selected haunted spots in Second Life while dressed in costume. So far the official haunt list isn’t up yet, but I’m sure it will be by the time the event starts! For more information about the Creepy Crawl, contact Xiola Linden.
Meet Alva! This is the newest face from Laqroki skins, and it is just stunning. I am loving the new prices for skin packs ($990L) cos it’s so cheap, and well, I don’t really need all the extra makeups for any skin as long as there’s a great bare face.
Each skin tone comes with 5 lipsticks with bare eye makeup.
I purchased the new Alva brows tattoos cos I love Black brows for this skin. The default Alva skin has Brown brows option, which are nice too, but for $175L you get Red, Blonde, and Black Brows tattoo in your tone choice.
Your old Laqroki brows tattoos won’t work with this new skin, so please upgrade! The old brows were made for Laqroki’s Glow skins range, and yes, it is different. My friend tried to wear her old brows with the new Alva skin, and being a good friend I just couldn’t let that happen! Friends do not let friends wear brows tattoos that don’t quite match.
Tattoo makeups is a great way to create more looks for this skin! I’ve added cheLLe – (eyeshadow) Sheer Neon (Green) and [PF] Elly <Chai> – Glam Lipstick – (Coral Splash) to create a whole new look.

When I blogged about the new SL username, I couldn’t register “Gogo” because the registration screen told me it was taken! I couldn’t locate the name in search under People either, so I figured it was gone for good. Well… it wasn’t gone. I tried to register it again today and guess who owns Gogo now?! ME! I guess the system was either busy or whoever registered Gogo didn’t bother to click the activation link.
So to the person squatting “Gogolita” – screw yourself. 🙂 They have hidden that name from search now, lol.
Have you ever wanted to be a little less orange or add a touch of pink to your skin tone? I wanted to color-correct the new Bryn skin in midtone that I got from Lara Hurley Skins. I like the skin, but the face and body is heavily shaded, a little too orange for my taste.
I love this new Laqroki Molly skins! This skin is available in 3 skin tones (I’m wearing Fair here) and each skin tone has 10 makeups. Each makeup comes with 2 different brows version – light and dark. I love that I can wear Blonde hair with this face, since the brows are light enough & thinner than usual.
The Laqroki body is amazing, as always!
I’m wearing this adorable Licio hair from Fascino. I’ve even added a hair bow to the style to make it very Gaga-like. Now, my gripe with Fascino is that they’re incredibly hard to resize and when you resize the hair, the textures are a lil messed up. If you look closely at the hair near my ears, you will see that the textures on the flexi hair strands are a little off, and it drives me crazy! Still, this is the best Gaga-inspired hair on the grid. I have hair from other brands with a hair bow and I don’t like them as much.
