  1. I am lowkey over the halloween hunts. Freebie burnout and event burnout is real. It’s just one never ending thing and soon it will be Christmas advent season. I love and appreciate all the effort people put into these things but it’s just a LOT this year. Spookzilla. Fifty Linden o week, Shop and Hop and god knows what else. ALso the lag is not the nicest.

I am with you on the premium membership. I am not upgrading. I only want more group space but I can live without it if I get my stipend. The stipend is the only reason for keeping premium atp.

  2. Flickr is still one of the best ways to market in SL. Yeah I know, Flickr Premium costs more than in the old days, even I miss my old grandfathered Premium pricing. But as we used to say “SL Fashionistas and Fashion Creators do Flickr Pro, it’s what we do.”

I used to say “Just say NO to Gacha.” That Toksik outfit is the kind of thing I like to have but I am NOT doing Gacha and paying L$4000 for a fatpack of dress and hat makes even shopaholic me wince and say no.

I did the Shop n Hop, found a couple of cute things, but meh. And most recent events have been Halloween’d out. It’s like that old “Girls Costume Warehouse” sketch from Collegehumor. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V4rUiV_Hh74 “Sexy Construction Worker, Sexy Nun, Sexy 1900’s Steel conglomerate Tycoon”. Even some of the supposedly fall stuff is showing a LOT of skin for fall. And really how many off the shoulder tops with detached sleeves do we need? (Yes, I know, all of them. collapses into fetal position)

I’ve actually been thinking of upgrading to Premium Plus for more groups, but apparently as a SecondLifetime Regular Premium I don’t have that option.

    1. Flickr is the only way I keep track of what’s new or on sale. I have used it since 2007 and I enjoy having the app on my phone.
I don’t use FB, IG or X. I especially dislike Primfeed so for those creators who have moved over there, oh well, I guess I will they will my money. I think I am in the minority though.
