Milana is the hair store that doesn’t release very often (once or twice a year only) but I love it when there is a new release! I’m loving these new flowy long hairstyles, they’re so cute in these hair colors above. I tend to wear too much Platinum hair colors, so I’ve been trying darker Blonde shades and even Light or Dark Brown. My friends seem to like Blonde Gogo more, but I must say…. Brown might be a permanent 2012 thing 🙂

I LOVE NEW HAIR!!! This new Lizzy hairstyle from Monso is an adorable updo with bangs. This hairstyle has materials, which can be seen if you’re using the official SL viewer. Since the last hair release, Monso created a new hair HUD and made new hair colors! Yay, I love HUDs too.
The HUD also has a built-in re-sizer.
Materials! It’s shiny and more prominent under certain lighting conditions. I moved my Sun/Moon slider around to show you guys how the lighting affects the texture.
Katat0nik released the adorable Tulle Skirts! When she released the Imaginative School Girl Outfit last month, I fell in love with the Tulle skirt, so I asked for it as a separate item. I’m thrilled she made them, and even included a texture-change/tint HUD. I didn’t wear it in my post, but you can also get a free add-on waist band that goes with this skirt too.

Personally I felt that the texture on the hands before were already nice, but she made it “less realistic” for people who complained that they were too realistic! Uh.. who are you people?! I miss the old textures but I like the newer smaller size.
The new prim patch really helps with making the hand/wrist joint more seamless but it’s still no easy task to match the skin tone perfectly. I played around with this a lot, but NO PS’ing here either.

Katat0nik has just released the Duck Shoot dress, and it is as cute as can be! At first glance, this is a very kawaii dress, but upon closer inspection, it's quite bloody! There are bloody bullet holes everywhere, a total massacre of duckies!
This dress is a 9-piece set and comes in 8 different colors (dark pink shown above).

Tiny Bird has just released three new hairstyles perfect for the beach & Summer weather because they are pulled back or braided and they're super cute!! I'm wearing Brown hair today because of Gala's new June skins, they're so pretty and goes well with Brunette hair colors.

So adorable and the hair ties are scripted to change different colors ~ there are 12 total, and one of them is labeled 'Gogo' and it's pink!! LOL I'm assume that's for me, but you never know! There could be some other Gogo running around the grid who loves Pink as much as I do.
My home & furniture set used for these photos are the Montauk from Painter Designs. I absolutely LOVE Painter Meriman's work so much. His builds are beautiful and they have great proportions and textures. I purchased this home because it was perfect for my island, it even comes with nautical decor! If you're looking for a home, I totally recommend Painter Designs, the customer service is awesome. When I purchased this home a couple of months ago, he only had the Montauk with one bedroom. But 3 weeks ago, I noticed that someone had the Montauk with two bedrooms! So rather than purchase a new home (it was $8,000L), I asked if I could have an upgrade and he did it without charging me extra. Talk about good customer service! 🙂 So I thought I would mention this home here, for anyone that is interested. The outside is beautiful, too.

i went to milana….and tried the demo of the april hair….it is good for photos but the hair always gets lost in my body….not good for just walking around…but excellent for photos…

If this hair was mesh it would be stuck to your body and “MOVE” with you, but you’d lose these gorgeous flexi prims that also moves… I kind of like mesh hair only if it’s fine.
That’s very true. The flexi’s are so pretty. I wonder if she could make them like extensions instead so they don’t go through the body so much.
