Exile has just released the 'Gina' hair and it is gorgeous! This hair includes a color-changeable hair tie securing the ponytail into place.

Dark hair is very sexy, and goes perfectly with this Chai skin tone from Pink Fuel & Cherry Red lipstick tattoo. I love this look, and I’ve also piled on some extra blush & black eyeliner tattoo, to create a more “grown up” look for this skin.
The new Maitreya Gold Flip-Flops arrived just in time for Summer! The sculpted foot is sooo cute, and very realistic. The Flip-Flops comes with a HUD to to tint skin tone & nail colors, is scripted to change colors, and also includes 3 different styles of anklets for both ankles. I like to wear just one anklet and one toe-ring, or no toe-ring at all, but I didn’t see the option to turn both off. The anklet is there as an accessory, but also, it helps to hide where the sculpted foot meets the leg. If your skin tone doesn’t match nearly perfectly, this area will be more visible.
I never photoshop my images to hide ankle seams, so I tried to get the tone to match as closely as possible. I followed the suggested skin tone #’s in the notecard, but it didn’t even come close, so I just made my own for this Pink Fuel skin.
Mon Tissu released a lot of casual pieces a few days ago, and I’ve been dying to blog them all but I didn’t get a chance to show you guys the outfit I was wearing yesterday. This is the new Gauzy Skirt, paired with the Cropped Tank Top.
The Cropped Tank Top comes with a texture shirt & a sculpted prim that flares out a bit, and they look great together. However, I did notice that the bottom of the shirt shows behind the prim, so I edited shirt length to be shorter, and I think it looks a lot nicer this way. I do this for a bunch of prim tops, if the designer does not provide a “short” version, to wear with the sculpted prim. Do you do this too? Do you think it looks better this way?

69 has new hair! I think the textures have been updated because the blondes pack are a bit nicer than before. These two hairstyles were hard to fit but not entirely impossible. Grab a cup of coffee and go slow! 🙂

Listen, I didn’t get invited to take part of that cool sale on Marketplace with special vendors, and you probably didn’t either. I don’t care. I can make my own sale, you know? Bring the chips and salsa to my own party.
So what do I have? TWELVE DAYS OF MAKEUP.
I put makeup on sale, every single frikkin’ day, for twelve days, and each day that makeup’s 50L. That’s it. BAM isn’t that amazing? Since I started this a little late, these three packs of makeup are on sale for 50L each for both Friday AND Saturday, and plus there’ll be one more makeup pack on sale tomorrow.
I will announce each pack of makeup on Juicybomb until the sale is done. When a makeup goes on sale, grab it then, because there’s only one sale per day! Early bird gets the worm.
All makeup will contain Omega appliers and system tattoos. Good for those of you who just bought those Logo heads, right? Right!

Pirate Treasure with James&Dew
Another round of Anthology has just opened, and the item that immediately caught my eye is the Captain’s Lullaby decor set from James&Dew. This captivating set includes a decorative chandelier crafted from bottles and ship pieces, along with candles nestled in bottles, all evoking a delightful DIY old-world charm. I absolutely adore how these items have been repurposed, making them perfect for a rustic or cottage-themed setting.
As I delved into the description on Flickr, I was intrigued by the mention of a hidden surprise. Curiosity piqued, I meticulously searched and eventually uncovered a hidden treasure! While I don’t want to give away the surprise, I can assure you it’s definitely worth exploring. Who knows? You might find treasures that have washed up on the shore somewhere. I’m thrilled about this treasure hunt feature, as I have a soft spot for nautical-themed items.
I must say, it’s quite bold of James&Dew to release this set with PBR textures only, sans fallback. This decision highlights their forward-thinking approach. As Second Life progresses, we’re moving beyond older texturing methods. For those unable to view PBR textures, the fallback is a blank white texture, but it’s high time designers focus on the future. Continually supporting outdated texturing methods is a tall order, and it’s refreshing to see creators embracing advancement.
Filmed in Second Life: Stormy Sips & Play To showcase the stunning PBR textures of the Captain’s Lullaby set, I created a short video. I rezzed a reflection probe in the entire room, although it’s not necessary to enjoy the beauty of PBR items. The probe merely enhanced the reflections, making them more focused. In fact, foregoing the additional reflection probe might even reduce lag, as regions already have auto probes, albeit less concentrated.
So, embark on this nautical adventure with the Captain’s Lullaby set, and who knows what hidden gems you might discover along the way!
