    Good Morning

    Good morning! Is it just me or does SL time seem to go by faster than real-time? Today I want to talk about the June 2016 round of The Arcade, even though it has been out 11 days, in SL time, that feels like a month. I usually go to yard sales, but the lag killed it for me this week. My friend always tells me to “use area search” but I don’t have that feature on the official SL viewer. I decided to try my search on the SL Marketplace, and everything is there. And guess what? It’s even cheaper than pull price. Tip: Filter results by price from lowest to highest.

    I bought myself the things I coveted without suffering lag, or wasting time checking every single box for the right color. Gacha resale is becoming a competitive sport; I feel that people are offering things for less than pull price cos they’re desperate to recuperate some money and not enough people are buying. I bought this adorable Tres Blah Open Robe for pull price or less, and even found a couple of extras for my friends in the floral prints that I wanted! Super pleased that lots of re-sellers have moved to the marketplace.

    I’ve been redecorating my SL home with cute lil’ things that I’ve found from events. I have to make room for new stuff by removing some old stuff, cos my home isn’t that big! I made a laundry corner/dressing room using What Next items. Even virtually, I can’t escape chores, lol!!

    Listen, I didn’t get invited to take part of that cool sale on Marketplace with special vendors, and you probably didn’t either. I don’t care. I can make my own sale, you know? Bring the chips and salsa to my own party.

    So what do I have? TWELVE DAYS OF MAKEUP.

    I put makeup on sale, every single frikkin’ day, for twelve days, and each day that makeup’s 50L. That’s it. BAM isn’t that amazing? Since I started this a little late, these three packs of makeup are on sale for 50L each for both Friday AND Saturday, and plus there’ll be one more makeup pack on sale tomorrow.

    I will announce each pack of makeup on Juicybomb until the sale is done. When a makeup goes on sale, grab it then, because there’s only one sale per day! Early bird gets the worm.

    All makeup will contain Omega appliers and system tattoos. Good for those of you who just bought those Logo heads, right? Right!

    Hair Fair 2015

    Hair Fair is here! I found a couple of favorites, but there’s so much more hair that I haven’t seen yet! I’m wearing LeLutka / Monso / Exile / and Wasabi Pills. My friend Aemeth will cover hair fair later with some of her favorite finds from Hair Fair, so be sure to check back for her post.

    Hair Fair runs from July 11th – July 26th, some of the proceeds are donated to the Wigs for Kids charity, so be sure to visit and support a good cause and buy fabulous hair!

    Home and Garden Expo 2014

    I heart the Home and Garden Expo! I love this expo so much, I always have such a good time exploring everyone’s display, and making a long list of things to get for my home. The best thing about Home and Garden Expo is that it doesn’t feel like an expo of things for sale, but more like a huge set of sims to explore, cos it’s all so uniquely displayed and landscaped.

    Most of the H&G sims are autumn themed, until I stumbled upon this lovely display from Studio Skye. It’s WINTER!!! I love the transitioning of the seasons here, and I stood here a lil’ too long admiring the landscaping and watching the leaves swirl around.

    What is UBER? It’s a new monthly event in SL, with a different theme each month. This month’s theme is: Vacation. Most designers in SL interpret that as a beach vacation, and I couldn’t have been happier. I am loyal to the easy, breezy, beachy lifestyle in SL!

    Say hello to my new friends, the Summer Flamingo Buddies from Ohmai. THIS IS AMAZING. I love tropical things and beach landscapes in SL, so naturally I also adore flamingos! I’ve always had them on my sim cos they’re Pink and kitschy.

    I like beach clothing that are more than just bikinis, so I can wear them with more casual outfits. I love this new halter tank and summer shorts from Teefy! I plan on wearing this halter top quite often, with skirts or pants. Find everything I’m wearing @ Summerfest.

    Hello! I am at the Amazon River, it was on the SL Destination Guide so I thought it might be pretty cool to visit. It was alright – a bit underwhelming cos of the default library plants (you can see some of it in my background). I’ve seen better jungle river sims and fewer naked avatars running around.

    My outfit today is really laid back and inspired by the sea. I’m wearing a new Julia jewelry set from Donna Flora. Designed and created by Squinternet before she passed away. I feel really sad knowing that new Donna Flora releases are unlikely, but happy that she had a few surprises left in her inventory. You can get the jewelry set at Fashion for Life.     The Inspiration Point Christmas Hunt offers such adorable gifts, that I had to go find the Lil Fawns! I found them, and a few more goodies using the map provided for the hunt. Use the map, it is extremely helpful and precise!

    Layering mesh clothing is so tricky (or nearly impossible) if the items were not created together as part of an outfit. I managed to layer some stuff I had in my inventory already, with some new hunt finds, and new Maitreya Dahlia mesh socks and Stagioni Leather boots.

    I’m also wearing the new Sora (Flushed) skin from Pink Fuel! A lot of you guys have asked me what skin I’m wearing, it’s a WIP version of Sora, but now you can duplicate the look by purchasing this skin and pairing it with Harley lipstick tattoos from Pink Fuel. This skin is just gorgeous, and only $75L!
