Zooby Animesh Cat

Zooby Animesh Cat

We now have cats at Aurelias Rainy Cafe! Zooby has just released the Animesh Cat, and if you like interactive pets, you’ll want to get your hands on these cuties for your Second Life. The animations are the cutest thing about these cats! I’ve rezzed two at the cafe, and they run around making realistic cat sounds.

Luna & Tiger, the Aurelias cats

Meet Luna and Tiger, the first Aurelias cats! The Zooby Animesh Cat has a variety of accessories that you can buy separately, for your cat to interact with — such as food bowls, beds, and litter boxes. The accessories are optional, so you don’t need to get them if you don’t want to. I bought my cats some food, but I don’t think feeding them will level them up or anything. You can also choose to not feed your cats, and they will still stay healthy, cos these are not breedables. You can also rez as many copies as you want to, they’re copiable.

You can choose your Linden Home?!

You can choose your Linden Home?!

Have you ever wished that you could select your Linden Home? Many people have asked me how I was able to select my stilt home using the Premium Plus choose your Linden Home concierge service, so I’m here to show you exactly how to do it.

Is your dream home available?

Before you upgrade your account to Premium Plus in order to use this service, make sure you map Bellisseria and create SLurls to available homes. Keep in mind that popular Bellisseria themes are frequently sold out and the homes are instantly available on the Land Page, you won’t be able to file tickets for those homes with any success. Newly released themes are more abundant, so you will have much better luck filing a ticket for a home.

DeeTalez, Events and other Ramblings

DeeTalez-Fanny

“Hi All,” says Elle Couerblanc’s Typist. “This time tomorrow I will be on a grand adventure to the Great State of Florida! But before I go I had to make one post of our girl, Elle Couerblanc, in the latest release from Deetalez called Fanny. “Doesn’t Elle look so cute,” she continues with a heavy sigh, “plus, over the weekend, Elle went a shoppin’ to all the various events on the grid, and boy does she have a lot to say…

Elle Goes to the Hair Fair

Hair-Fair-Exile_Leena

Hello Beautiful People! As our beloved Gogo mentioned this past weekend in her blog post titled “Summertime” the annual Hair Fair event launched on June 25th. For my contribution to promoting this wonderful event, I picked out three of my favorite Hairdos to feature in today’s post. First up is the oh, so, sublime Leena from Exile. I have to say, Kavar’s textures are some of the best on the grid; and as an ADDED BONUS, this Do is FREE…Yes Ladies and Gents, FREE!

Second Life’s 19th Birthday!

Gogo @ SL19B

Hello from SL19B! This year’s Second Life birthday celebration is shaping up to be one of the best yet. I’ve been waiting for the right opportunity to wear the Pathos Skirt & Blouse from toksik, and this is it! I just checked the date, and this was purchased in March 2021. I’ve been considering wearing it for over a year. I went to a couple of the main attractions at SL19B, and the Tapestry of Time was my favorite.

I <3 SL Skins – Elle's Noob Days continue….

Through-a-Screen-Door
Just an Irrelevant Pretty Picture

My return to Second Life has been, overall, uncomplicated. I logged in, got addicted to Linden Homes, and of course, I shopped. I have to say that I am a bit disappointed in the fashion choices in Second Life: So-Many-Outfits-Look-Exactly-The-Same. I spent many an hour visiting the latest events attempting to find that perfect new outfit. Alas, 75% of the time, my event shopping resulted in disappointment. I don’t know if it’s the demos the designers decide to use or if the efforts are just – bad. The pattern continues – I teleport to the current “Event Du Jour,” and an advert catches my eye. With the flick of my mouse, I would click that demo prim faster than you could say “Lindens.” Then, excitedly I would port home to one of my, err, seven Linden Homes and gleefully try the demo, and more often than not, the demo unveiling would reveal a horrible plastic-looking shirt with no depth or a skirt that was just..sad. But…not the Skin featured in the plethora of events: Oh My…Not the Skin.

Meta Acquires Second Life from Linden Lab

Metaverse

After months of discussions, Mark Zuckerberg and the Meta team have determined that Second Life is the true metaverse. They have now completed negotiations with Linden Lab for the acquisition of Second Life, and the transition is currently in the works.

“This transition will take place over the next few months, and we will do everything we can to make it as smooth as possible. Don’t be alarmed if you notice your legs disappearing; this is a new user function.”

Half Linden

Conquerors have amassed land and power on the battlefield throughout history. For the metaverse, Mark Zuckerberg, the founder of Meta, and Philip Rosedale, the founder of Linden Lab, will compete in a boxing match to see who can have the weirdest hair in the metaverse. In addition to getting the hairstyle, the winner will be able to decide whether or not avatars will have legs.

Newbrooke, Linden Homes

@ Newbrooke; new Linden Homes

Hello from Newbrooke! These new modern-style homes are available in 512 or 1024 sqm. I don’t love these homes, but I’m warming up to them! There’s a lot of potential here, especially if you like the modern aesthetics. Like previous themes, you can choose to have any Newbrooke home style on your land.

Reflections

Reflections

Hello from Aurelias! I just want to thank all of the visitors for your sweet comments about the region and for submitting your photos to the Aurelias Flickr group. There’s a rush in Second Life to immediately go from Christmas/Winter to Spring. We’re taking our time on Aurelias and thawing out slowly! We already planning for Spring, but I just love the snow so much that it’s going to linger through March.
