CUPCAKES has just released the new Seduction skins! Each skin tone has 10 makeups and freckles version. I chose the Cameo skin tone because I like the light tan but also because the brows are brown. Depending on which skin tone you purchase, the brows will be either brown or black. Brow options would be something that I think a lot of people would want, even more so than freckles.
I really like all the makeup choices, but especially 'Natural' since I love it when skin creators do the 'fresh-faced' look well. The lips on these are gorgeous! Here's a close up photo:
What I'm Wearing:
artilleri – dallas *brown* CUPCAKES – Spring Halter (Floral) Pink CUPCAKES – Jeans Shorts (Tan) HUB – Venus Sandals, White Pearl
Tuli has just released the popular Hope skins in Gothic version!! There are 10 makeups total, most of them have deep red lipstick and different dark/smokey eyeliners. These skins are such a good idea and I think most skin designer should do a "fantasy" version of their skins so people can wear it with costumes and still keep their favorite face.
If you join the Tuli Update Group in-world, you get a natural no-makeup version of the Tuli Hope Gothic skin for free!! The group does have a $250L fee to join, but this is one of the few groups that I would totally recommend paying to join. It's worth it!
One more pic.. because Vampires are all the rage now. I can't stare at myself in this skin for too long, it frightens me a lil!
Fishy Strawberry has just released the ‘Dancing Queen Dress’ in many colors but I chose the Light Gold because it’s glam and goes well with golden accessories! I love texture on this dress, I thought that pairing it with too much gold could be overwhelming, but it totally works here. I’m gold from head to toe, except for my shoes cos I really wanted White on my feet, since the other colors drew attention away from the dress.
Exile has just released the Janine hairstyle, a short bob with soft wispy layers that curl outwards. I'm wearing the hair in Harlow and Ash color, both available in the Blondes pack. This hair is short & sexy and perfect for halter dresses.
I am wearing HUCCI's newest release, the Heather Collection dress which can be worn as a short dress or short pants (prim shorts cuffs included), and has two prim beaded halter straps in gold or silver version.
What I'm Wearing:
Tuli – Hope Prototype Base Skin (unreleased) Exile – Janine Hucci – Heather Halter (Lt Grey) Redgrave – St. Tropez Heels (Sungold)
New launched Tableau Vivant is so fantastic!!! I haven’t had this much fun trying on new tattoo makeups in awhile.
These Tableau Vivant Light & Shadows eye makeups are gorgeous and some includes decorative attachments (lashes, feathers, leaves) that complements the makeup so well. I really like the pretty and pastel ones, but I also love the dark and moody ones too.
Visit Tableau Vivant ~ these makeups are not just for girls.
In my next post, I will show you some of the new clothes from this brand, but I’m still undecided if I want to show you guys nipples are not, LOL!
The Avatar Welcome Pack is now available in the library and is free for all residents. To use it, copy the entire pack from the library into your inventory. I decided to challenge myself by dressing from head to toe in free items. Additionally, SeraPlus, the newly released gift pack from Seraphim, is also available. However, this gift pack is for paid residents only, meaning you need to be a Plus, Premium, or Premium Plus member to access it. I chose to mix and match items from both of these packs to create my version of Gogo Lite. Given the limitations of this mesh head and body, I think I did fairly well.
Almost immediately, I noticed that because I was using the lite Avalon head, I lack a HUD to control various features – can’t change lashes, expressions, HD makeups, etc. Furthermore, some of the shape sliders for facial adjustments are disabled. While I could edit about 90% of the features, one slider I really wanted to use, the chin depth slider, was unfortunately unavailable.
UPDATE: You can edit the chin slider and all of the sliders if you wear ANY BODY that is not Legacy Lite. I was able to edit the Avalon Lite head when I’m wearing the Maitreya LaraX body.
This is my first time wearing Legacy, so I can’t provide an informed opinion about it. Since it was free, I took the opportunity. However, I spent quite some time searching for a long sleeve alpha to cover my elbows, which were poking through the top; this was not included in Riot’s package. I assume the SeraPlus gift is aimed at residents with the full Legacy body, but if you search for it, you can likely find a free alpha to hide the arms. I also added a random shorts alpha to maintain modesty, as there were instances where private areas peeked through in various poses.
As for the Avatar Welcome Pack, while they stated that HUDs were omitted to simplify things for new residents, I believe HUDs are crucial for learning. It would have been beneficial to include at least some HUDs or controls. Though I find the free body and head adequate, the inability to hide certain body parts is a significant limitation. To top it off, I noticed I don’t have any fingernails, and the nails on the body skin I’m wearing is a hot mess on the Legacy lite body.
Overall, whether you’re a new resident or an experienced player looking spruce up your avatar, the Avatar Welcome Pack provides lots of items to get you started. If you prefer not to spend any money at all, I recommend checking out FabFree for all the latest freebie offerings.
fri.day group members were given early access to the Friday sim today, but due to some scripting issues with the vendors, the sim is closed again. When the sim re-opens officially tomorrow, check for 3 gift boxes containing basic items like the cami & shorts worn above, a pair of flats, and some bikinis.
