D!va Hair – Chizuru (group gift) | Haruka (group gift in-store)

Do you know what happens when I stumble into a new hair store? My linden$ disappears and half a dozen hairstyles land in my inventory! YAY! 🙂

I found D!va Hair (byMarisa Kira) while looking for free hair for the Newbie Style Challenge. These two hairstyles above are free gifts, they’re so cute.

Even though I really like the Cat’s eye blonde texture at D!va, I really think there should be more texture choices. All hairstyles also includes a version with bangs.

I don’t like that the hair is no mod (but includes a resize script). The resize script is alright for some of the styles but a few of them really aren’t wearable (although you can’t see it in my pictures, I suck at editing via the script so I couldn’t move some prims to cover some bald areas).

Do I like D!va? Yes, for $100L per color, they’re a great deal but the no mod/resize script thing is annoying. I hope they change this in future releases.

I needed free eyes for my Newbie Style Challenge and Elfreda Quar sent me a notecard with lots of places with free gorgeous eyes. I visited a few of them, and decided that I liked these best. They’re actually so pretty I am wearing them on my main av too.

Yes Truth has new hair, but that’s expected! I honestly think the grid might melt if Truth didn’t release new hair every week.

But what I really want to talk about today is this t-shirt. Wilma sent it to me awhile ago, but I’ve always felt that if I wore it, some people might get the wrong idea that *whispers* I really think I’m a Princess or something 😛

And besides, princesses don’t swear!

I was in a funk all day but I logged in for gorgeous new skins and new hair. I can’t keep away for too long when SL designers lure me in with new goodies!

Apple May has been around forever, but I had no idea that she sold skins too. Maybe this is the first one, but I can’t be sure since I haven’t been to AMD in awhile. This Mia skin is a group gift (join the subscribo to get it) and is available in 4 skin tones. I instantly liked this face as soon as I tried it on. Why do I like this face so much?

Exile is on a roll! These three new hairstyles are adorable. I’m going Brown today to celebrate the release of Eclipse! I can’t believe I went to see it on opening day, yay me. And just in case you’re wondering, I’m Team Jacob! Sadly I’ve read book 4 and that doesn’t happen but if you’re still reading it I won’t spoil it here.

The Drowsy sim is so stunning, it is the perfect place to show off this new Exile Kylie hairstyle. I wear the Pink Candy color sometimes cos I really love Pink (big shock…)! I could probably wear it all the time but I don’t because it doesn’t go with everything! 😛

My outfit today is a mix of old and new. The Chiki Chiki top from Sweetest Goodbye is a past release and it is fully sculpted and just perfect. I’m pairing it with the newly released Summer Flirt skirt from Djinn & Tonic.

Donna Flora has just released these adorable Carousel dress (includes hair, not worn here) and I love it so much! When I saw it I knew I had to try it on cos I love carousels, I have a few of them in SL too.

See the Mood Clouds I’m wearing above my head? I predict that these will be all the rage soon. When you’re having a conversation with someone and you want to display your feelings, just attach one! The Mood Clouds are from Pink Fuel, and will be released for Project Themeory. They’re available in 5 emotions – Angry, Crazy, Grumpy, Happy and Sad. Each emotion has a different texture and some even emits cute particles.

Boon – XFE275 hair (Chocolate)

Here are two hairstyles that I thought would pair beautifully with the Carousel dress. I love the booN hair, it’s very doll-like and beautiful. If you’re going for that Marie Antoinette look, check out the Sophia hairstyle from Nushru!

These three new hairstyles from Truth are stunning, and of course I’m wearing my favorite Swedish Blonde. I get lots of Google searches to my site for “swedish blonde” and I hope they’re not disappointed when they get here! Hi guys, I’m not actually from Sweden but my avatar is Blonde and wearing the fabulous Swedish color *waves*!

I instantly knew I would love Larissa, cos the style is so sleek and sexy. I’m pairing it with my Hucci-mama Gold Rain Jumpsuit! Eboni Khan is fast becoming one of my favorite casual wear stores, cos she really designs for girls who are not afraid to embrace their inner Hucci. I prefer booty shorts and low cut tops to pants and a proper shirt, but you guys already know that if you follow my blog! It doesn’t have to be skanky if your avatar doesn’t look dirrrty.

eha – Yuka | Rin | Yuki (in Strawberry)

eha has just released 3 more hairstyles at their new main store. I think this brand will be quite popular, cos the styles are cute and they’re already releasing fairly consistently. They’re new so I’ll cut them some slack about not having my favorite light blonde texture, but I’m still waiting for it!

Also, I noticed a trend lots of Japanese hair designers (or new designers), the hair sizes tend to run a lot smaller than usual. I think the “standard” SL head size is 50+ with an average head (profile) length. I had to resize this hair a lot more than the other brands I normally wear, but it wasn’t too hard (it may be hard for newer players though).

Exile has just released perfect summer hairstyles!! My two favorites are Adriana and Tash (includes a color changing hair bow). I think Wes is a short women’s style but can be unisex, and Keith’s is a men’s style that also looks pretty cute on girls!
