This is a preview of the new Audrey skin from Tuli that will be released later today tomorrow. I’m really excited about Audrey because I think she looks nothing like what Tuli has done in the past – the face is completely different, and the brows and lips are just amazing. I’m also really excited that there are lots of 2.0 lipstick layers to choose from!
If you’re dying to try Audrey before the release, join the Tuli Update group ($250L fee) and get a free group gift skin.
My hair is the new Lily style from Exile. It is available at The Dressing Room for a limited time only! The regular release will not have the 4 hair colors sold here.
Do you know what a 21 year old looks like? Sometimes an avatar created by a younger user is told they look too young, according to those who are older.
This group of people disagreed on the issue, due to generational differences of their perception of a woman in that age group. True, the thread had factors such as the sim owner being able to impose whatever rule they wanted on their land and who was allowed there. This, however, is not about the sim owner’s prerogative. It’s about how users in Second Life consider young adults and what they think they actually look like.
I think many times in Second Life, we disagree about what a young adult appears as. We all grew up during different decades, and our heyday has given us an implied bias. For me, the picture above is what I think someone who’s 21 can look like. She’s following an e-girl trend (though not all do), and is willing to try a lot of different wild trends because she’s got the money and freedom to do so. I, however, am a Millenial. Maybe you think differently about this than I do.
What do you think the answer is? Take a picture, post a blog, tag it on IHeartSL with “21Challenge”, and let’s see the results! I want to know the answers others come up with.
Friends tease me all the time for being known as loyal to Truth’s popular Swedish blonde hair color (before the texture update). If you were to ask me now what my favorite Truth hair color is, I would say it consists of the top few rows in the blonde pack. I don’t actually know the color name anymore, as they no longer have specific names. We’ve lost a lot of information since the colors were moved into HUDs.
This new Truth x Kiwi collaboration release features a cute bandana, which I am not wearing here. The sleek hair made it perfect for headbands, and I find myself in the mood for earmuffs. I began this blog post wearing a pastel bandana look, but then I decided to experiment with a color combination that I don’t typically wear, which is black and white.
The Kiwi Co’s newest release, Ceres, is a megapack of casual outfits. If I were to say that these outfits look exactly as you would expect from their last brand, Blueberry, would you agree with me? There are numerous options here to mix and match with these items or other pieces you already own from both brands.
Pixit has a sassy pose pack available at the current round of Anthology. Be sure to get it now before the new round starts!
Happy New Years! The OMFG ‘Christian Couture’ gown is fabulous! I feel like Miss New Year’s or something in this gown, with the awesome sculpted wrap with diamonds & pearls & roses! For accessories, I chose two more pieces from LaGyo (also available at Designers United 3). I am wearing the LaGyo Swan necklace and matching Swan earrings.
Hello from Ethereal City! I had a lot of fun here, and the whole region is a great backdrop for my photos today. I’ve noticed that I only have two styles these days: very casual (cardigans, sweaters, etc.) or “Sugar Baby Chic,” where I go all out and wear something sexy but still cute.
Kira Ahn will be releasing the new Charlotte skins tomorrow and it is yummy!! If you’re looking for a change, these are fantastic and have a nice little glow to them, even on the Pale skin tone that I’m wearing below. The Charlotte skins pack will include a shape and eyes (not worn here) and 10 different makeups.
I Loooove the bright frosty eyeshadow on these skins!!
Couverture released the beautiful Ta Fleur sculpted dress that can be worn several ways. The frill, and skirt can be worn together or separately. I’m wearing just the skirt without frill in the pictures above. When you take off the sculpted skirt, this dress can transform into a body suit (wear with the frills or without).
I’m in love with the new jewelry pieces from LaGyo! I’m wearing the Winter Deer headpiece, King Deer ring, and Queen deer ring. I couldn’t choose which one to wear, so I wore ’em both 🙂
What I’m Wearing:
LeLutka – Gem/Golden-Makeup7
Truth – Janelle (Swedish)
Couverture – Ta Fleur (Pink)
LaGyo – Winter deer headpiece
LaGyo – King Deer ring
LaGyo – Queen Deer ring
SLink – Aveela Stiletto (White)
