About two weeks ago, I blogged about updating my graphics card from the Nvidia GTX 260 to GTX 570. My power supply was just 525watt, but the minimum power recommended to run this graphics card is 550watt. I WAS SUPER SAD FACE ABOUT THIS! Everyone warned me that my system could overload and have a melt down so I needed to update my power supply right away. After purchasing a new 825watt power supply and watching some Youtube video tutorials, I’m happy to report that I have now installed my very first power supply! YAY.
If this does not help me take super amazing SL snapshots without crashing, then I give up!!!!
BTW YOU GUYS, installing your own graphics card and power supply is super easy. I’ve learned everything I know from Youtube video tutorials and saved myself a bunch of money by not having to hire GeekSquad.

I’ve been slacking off on fashion blogging a bit cos I bought a new skybox apartment! I’m really not a skybox dweller, but I really adore Lya Chau’s SweetBox apartment. I also have the Apartment 1.0, which is a more Japanese style apartment. If you’re looking for something fantastic, check out her shop on Marketplace. This skybox has a living room, kitchen, bedroom, bath, and hallway. It was easy to decorate, I re-used some stuff I had in my inventory already (from past homes) and also purchased a couple of new things.
All the furniture and decors are from LISP Bazaar, MudHoney, Nordari, North West, artilleri, and a couple of artwork pieces from Mijn Boa (she’s no longer in SL). I’m almost out of prims, so this is it for now! I’ll probably personalize it a bit more and try to squeeze more stuff in LOL.

I’m wearing LeLutka‘s newest release, the Paine mini-skirt. It’s sculpted so a bit of fitting needs to be done to get it to fit properly. As usual, I’ve decided to just shrink my avatar to fit (mostly my ass) since I don’t really like messing with sculpted prims. I’ve paired it with a really old and discontinued MMS (now LeLutka) skin with deep red lipstick… ah, I love this skin so much.
Diesel Works is a pose shop that has been around just for a few months but they already have tons of poses & posing accessories. I’m playing around on the Diesel Works ‘The Debutante Chaise’ which comes with an impressive collection of 25 poses changeable via a menu.
