These Moon Eyes from Dead Apples are out of this world! They’re a gorgeous group gift, be sure to join the Dead Apples Little Shop group in SL, and check notices to get it. I’m wearing the texture eyes (the mesh prim eyes are included too), cos I didn’t want to fuss with re-positioning them to fit.

My friends list on Plurk is such a good place to shop for items. I saw Gidge wear this BOUDOIR Butterfly Dress about a month ago, and I made a mental note to get it for myself. The dress is so dreamy!!!!!
I’m only wearing some of the flower attachments because I wanted a short cute look, but it also comes with this long luxurious flower skirt and a butterfly skirt (to be worn together). This outfit was originally full bright with some glow but I turned all of that off since I won’t wear full-bright clothing unless there’s a very good reason for it.

I woke up late and didn't make it to the Lelutka show, but I am anxiously waiting for the grand re-opening!!! More London skins, here I come! I'm wearing the LondonSunkissed-makeup4b, a slightly darker tone than I normally wear but it's perfect for a beachy look! The hair is 'Erin' from TRUTH and fantastic Stone Bead Choker from Sable Rose by Rosie Barthelmes.

I know it’s still November, but I’m already in the mood for winter lights and Christmas festivities in Second Life. There are several things I look forward to during this time of the year, including Black Friday sales, the LeLutka Christmas tree gift, and clothing options that go beyond dresses that barely cover one’s bum. I need to find a way to wear this Everfaery Frostlight Jacket year-round, as it comes with so many color options and optional string lights. Everything is better wrapped in string lights.
To distract myself from the issues with the Second Life mobile app, I decided to visit Winter Love Valley and enjoy some snow. This region is simple yet truly exceptional for photography! I was especially impressed with the chairs by What Next; the poses are all great and appear very natural. I immediately messaged Sparkle to ask if we had those chairs in our region, and she confirmed that we do.
In all the years that I’ve blogged about Second Life, I have never felt appreciated by Linden Lab. Therefore, when I read about the secret invitation-only blogger’s Zoom meeting, I was not surprised at all to not receive an invitation. A few other bloggers expressed similar sentiments, as feeling excluded is regrettably nothing new here. Second Life gains a significant amount of free press from its residents; we take millions of photos and create videos daily to promote the platform. Second Life bloggers are essential to the platform’s success; without us shopping, buying regions, and showcasing our experiences online, brands would not be able to thrive here.
If you read the blog post I linked, you will see that in Brett Linden’s email, he mentions plans for even more secret meetings with selected creators. If you are a creator, consider how you can get on that list, as your competitors may receive invitations and obtain information that could significantly impact your livelihood before you do.
There’s more I want to express about how Linden Lab has handled these matters, but I am not particularly impressed with recent developments, and I worry about Second Life’s future. With tickets going unanswered and numerous hacking incidents reported on the platform, I question whether we are safe. Is Second Life in trouble?

Fashion for Life is happening now through March 20th. I checked out a list of the shops on all 10 sims, and went to two cos they had brands I wanted to check out. I’m feeling too lazy these days to run around all 10 sims, so I’ll leave that to others.
I picked up the Lucy Lace top & Wrap Mini Skirt outfit (in exclusive Mint color for FFL) cos I love these two G-Field items so much! I already have the tops in all the other colors & the skirt in Pink, so Mint was a nice addition. I also paired this outfit with the new Long Cuff Boots (Mesh); it’s sooo gorgeous. You made it, time flies, year went by so fast, this one’ll be better, etc. Did you have a good holiday? Did you get anything? My family exchanges presents, but we put a priority on wishing each other well and telling each other how much each person means to us. For New Years’, I spent my time partying with my mates at an art studio. There was general running around and prank-pulling that day.
Since Christmas and New Years’ have passed, it’s time to talk about resolutions. I originally said I wasn’t going to do any, but I actually could manage some.
So, here they are:
Do that secret project I said I was gonna do.
FINISH MY PORTRAIT WORK. I do portraits in Second Life but haven’t finished my projects due to stuff happening in rl and being sad for a bit. Now that I’m back, I’m going to solve this problem by opening a Tinychat room and linking my friends to it. People watching me work will ensure I finish. Bam! That resolution is totally happening. I don’t know the time yet but it’ll probably be in the afternoon when I do this.
Clean out my inventory. I have tons of textures from old clothing, WIP skin work, makeup I never released, unfinished ideas, finished ones, and long forgotten stuff I did and didn’t keep at my store for very long. For all of that, I’m at 30k in my inventory–which isn’t bad, but it needs to be lower. I’m a hoarder so this is going to be a challenge.
Paint stuff. Make stuff. Publish stuff.
Be confident in my ability to be a living, breathing unicorn with a belly full of weird ideas and crazy talent.
