I’ve officially given up on cleaning my inventory. Easter hunts completely wrecked it, and I’m done wasting time trying to fix it. I’m sitting at 106k today, which… I wish was lower, but at this point I don’t even know what to delete anymore.
I did a little shopping this weekend and it made me realize how much I appreciate brands that release a proper pair of pants. I love ISON for that. Most of their stuff actually covers everything and still feels really classy. I can’t even remember which event I picked up these Maisie Corduroy Trousers from, but they’re really good.
Normally I’m very basic. I just wear whatever the newest release is that everyone else is wearing that weekend. But this time I decided to dig deeper into my inventory and put something together that probably nobody else is wearing right now. I remembered this amazing fur coat from Dami, an old gacha from forever ago. The whole outfit ended up being a mix of old and new, plus a few freebies thrown in.
I think I like Gogo as a blonde, but it’s getting harder when some hair brands just don’t do good blonde textures anymore. I don’t know what happened to Stealthic, but the blondes just aren’t hitting like they used to. It didn’t work for this look at all, so I switched to a light brown instead. This hair was supposed to be part of Fifty Linden Friday, but I still ended up paying like L$199 because I needed the full pack just to change the style. Not really a sale if you can’t even use the features, right?
Overall I’m feeling a little burnt out with my inventory, and honestly with where clothing is at in Second Life right now. It feels like we’ve hit a bit of a standstill. I should already have everything I want and need at this point. And yet… I still keep buying things. I guess I’m doing my part to keep the economy going.
I’m in love with the new Lola hairstyle from Wasabi Pills. This hair also includes a HUD to change the scarf 12 colors and 4 different prints. The hair is mesh, so if you still cannot wear mesh items, you’re missing out sooooo much!! This is perfect for casual Summer looks.
As you may have heard, Skin Fair is open! I made a new petite and doll-like shape, for the newest Alyx skin from Pink Fuel. Last year, I released a shape using a special edition of the Alyx skin, but this new Alyx skin has been updated with new features and new makeup! I’m wearing LeLutka‘s newest release, the Paine mini-skirt. It’s sculpted so a bit of fitting needs to be done to get it to fit properly. As usual, I’ve decided to just shrink my avatar to fit (mostly my ass) since I don’t really like messing with sculpted prims. I’ve paired it with a really old and discontinued MMS (now LeLutka) skin with deep red lipstick… ah, I love this skin so much.
Diesel Works is a pose shop that has been around just for a few months but they already have tons of poses & posing accessories. I’m playing around on the Diesel Works ‘The Debutante Chaise’ which comes with an impressive collection of 25 poses changeable via a menu.
These look like they’d suit most of my skins – and having three sizes is a brilliant idea!
The colours are lovely, but I’d love to see a series with more pinks and crimsons in the next release – please? 🙂
i’m not sure if you make chelle lips or just model them or it’s someone else with your body shape who models them.
anyways there was a set i bought a while ago- the icey icing set. and i LOVE LOVE LOVE the lip stains that were made with it, i’d love a whole set with that very subdued lip coverage.
ps. i went back to look at the ad and i see i LOVE LOVE LOVED them in my review in february lol. see they hold up to the test of time i still use them constantly.
but this is about another lipcolor sorry to stalk the other set so badly lol.
i like the stains the best the heavier lip coverage looks bad on me. it’s not the lipstick it’s more my shade of skin.
