I bought this Nippon Love Parka1.3 Usagi from TOSL (by Quinlan Quimby) at the Pacific Crisis Fundraiser event. On the vendor ad, I thought it looked pretty good so I bought the parka and matching wellies.

I’m so disappointed that both of these items were set to 0.03 glow! Thankfully every prim was mod, so I turned glow off, but it’s so unnatural looking and I really don’t understand why designers think that setting clothing items to glow is nice. Glow is only acceptable on small accessories otherwise it’s just creepy (like a glowing spirit).

In certain Windlight settings, the glow is more prominent and really blindinggggg!!

So this is my PSA to designers, please stop glowing your stuff, kthx.

After I linked to my Ruthed.com post, a couple of people went out of their way to leave Anonymous “hate” comments that was neither necessary nor relevant. I have no issue with Yoko Leeroy’s pricing at all — in fact, I talked to her today, and now I have a clearer understanding of why her Pick was worded that way. It was rude, but she said that some fellow creators sent her IMs saying she was ruining their only source of income — which sounded familiar to me. When Eloh Eliot first released her skins PSD, some people also had the same outrage. And look where we are now? The skins economy is not ruin, and in fact, we have even more brands to choose from than before.

I am happy when I can talk things out with people who may offend me at first glance. I can’t say the same for some of you guys in SL though, who went out of your way to IM Yoko after my link and said, “I can’t believe what Gogo did to you!”

To people who went out of your way to IM Yoko, LOL @ YOU. It got you into her shop didn’t it?  Shame on you, for trying to fuel the fire 🙂

Grazia is having Elven Ears week on her blog — so I am having my own open mouth/teeth week on JuicyBomb. This is something that people either love or love to hate… and I honestly think that some people pull it off well and some looks a bit ‘horsey’ so if you’re against modifying your shape, perhaps this won’t be the best look for you.

I wrote the post for Ruthed.com a couple of weeks ago, and I still stand by it. I have no further comments about it, so if you desperately wanted these, there you go.

If I paid for something, crediting is at my discretion. I don’t ever feel like I “owe” it to SL residents or creators to credit anything not given to me. /the end

Sequin leggings… I spent a lot of time today trying to figure out a way to wear these! Hucci does it so well (although they don’t come with prim cuffs) so you’ll have to wear them with boots or some type of socks to cover up the cuff area. To me, it just looks weird if it’s not covered up.

I don’t consider myself an SL hoarder but there are a couple of things I just can’t delete. One of them being Last Call items, even though one of my close friends told me that she deleted her entire collection already *sobs!*

They’re getting dated, but I’m still fond of them. Do I keep hoarding it or donate it to someone that will love it more?

Someone wished me a happy rez day today, otherwise I would have totally forgotten. I guess being around in SL after 4 years and still enjoying every day of it is a blessing. I really hope for more of the same, so here’s to 4 more years of being in SL — both me and Juicy sims, forever and ever and ever… til SL turns out the lights 🙂

I’ve been wearing this Indyra Originals Republica Fur Jacket for a few days now and I really like it. I had to modify it a lot though, cos some of the fur prims were FULL BRIGHT (yuck!) and sometimes SL is wonky and wouldn’t let me uncheck it. Also, this jacket is huuuge… it fits OK right out of the package but you’ll need to position it in place to fit your avatar’s frame. I also thought it was kind of ‘pricey’ to sell the same color jacket (with different colored trimmings) for $350L each. I normally don’t mention prices, but I really wanted this in White with Pink, Silver, and Gold trimmings without having to pay for a new jacket each time. It would have been a nice option! Now, I can totally understand paying twice if I wanted this jacket in Black too, but I just wanted it in White with all the trimmings available!!!!

Anyways.. that’s the endo f my rant. I guess I am spoiled by some designers who offers lots of options, and those are the ones that gets lots more love 🙂
