Losing My Religion
The next round of We <3 Roleplay is opening this Friday! There are a lot of gorgeous items out this round (as always, honestly), but two of my favorite ones are this cape from Pucca Firecaster Creations, and this hair from Damselfly. The cape comes with a lot of different options for customization and looks great. Combined with this halo from random.Matter and the hair, I kind of look like a Germanic version of the Holy Mary.
Although I’m an atheist now, that was not always the case for me. During Christmas, a lot of the Catholic imagery I was familiar with as a kid comes flooding back. I miss the smells and sounds of the church, but I can’t really find myself wanting to return if I simply don’t believe anymore. Regardless, Christmas for me means sharing goodwill with everyone, even those who don’t celebrate, and showing people you love that you care for them.
Winter is also my favorite holiday (AND I was born in December–the 4th, in fact! :D), so regardless of anything else I loooove Christmas just because of the seasonal ambiance.

Skin & Shape Expo 2011
Hello fellow skin addicts! The Skin & Shape Expo is pretty exciting this year, although I was a lil’ disappointed when some designers pulled out at the last minute. There are still tons of amazing new skins, shapes, and makeups, so it’s definitely worth checking out.
I would normally do more thorough reviews by showing you all the makeups and some skin options, but this event is only 10 days so I want to try and show as many different skins as I can before it ends. The Candy Factory

Taryn
Hi everyone! I’m wearing the new Taryn skin from Nar Mattaru. The skin comes with Blonde, Brown, Black, and Ginger brows, and tattoo lipsticks. It’s rare lately for me to take off my Pink Fuel skin and try on anything else, but I’m really glad I did cos the face is very cute on Taryn, even though there are a couple of things that I think could be improved upon (mostly skin tone & brow color). Also, my boobs are huge in this skin, which may or may not be a desirable effect!
This skin also includes WowMeh body appliers, which I’ve seen in pictures from other SL residents but I haven’t tried it yet. Do you guys love it? Do I need it? If I do find the time to try on a demo, I will let you know, but for now I am quite alright with my regular default body (plus mesh hands and feet).
