All the latest Second Life and virtual world coverage since 2007.

Someone asked me awhile ago why I haven’t visited ColdLogic, and the truth is nothing appealed to me (until now). I don’t normally wear knee-length dresses, turtlenecks, or long trousers, so I’ve just been passing up the new releases. Finally, yesterday, the newly released Clark top (it’s mesh) caught my eye, cos I love the cleavage and it looked pretty great on. I purchased this top in White, and also bought the Mazza trousers (also mesh) in White to create an all White outfit. I could have also gone with the trousers in another color, they’re all pretty basic and will work with a bunch of things in my inventory.

This may be the most mesh items I’ve worn in a single outfit — shirt, trousers, and mesh hair! I think that wearing mesh is less complicated than regular sculpted prims (you don’t have to re-position or mod anything) buuuuut, you have to be willing to mod your shape, unless the alpha was very accurate. Instead of wearing the Medium size, which I thought made my avatar look really bulky, I chose to wear the Small and reduced my body fat & breasts on the sliders. I didn’t want to make my avatar slimmer than normal, I just didn’t like the too broad shoulders on the Medium size.

Damn you! I was happily not spending my lindens, waiting for the next update from Maitreya or Lelutka and you had to go and tell me about a store I had never heard about before!

Say goodbye to your lindens, Vianne!
